Metal Detecting And Searching An Old Farm In West Virginia
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 25 мар 2023
- Today Jim and I metal detect a property in the Shenandoah Valley of West Virginia in search of coins, relics, and whatever else we might find. I do manage to eyeball a really cool stone Indian artifact as well as find some pretty interesting stuff with my metal detector.
About Aquachigger:
I enjoy metal detecting for historical items like gold coins, relics, silver coins, and other buried treasures. I also metal detect for gold and silver nuggets and even meteorites. I like to make videos that promote my choice of lifestyle that includes outdoor adventure,
metal detecting, yapping, searching for river treasure, SCUBA diving, exploring abandoned places, hiking, caving, caring for animals and pets, and observing the things outdoors that often go unnoticed by most people who are not familiar with outdoor adventures and nature. I keep my RUclips "Aquachigger" channel family-friendly and hope you subscribe if you like my style.
BTW, you can also catch me here, / chiggsarmy ,but I may get a little edgier there. FB isn't a place for kids anyway...lol.

Just a little metal detecting tonight. I find a nice stone knife, a big antler, relics, and even a coin on this hunt. I added a few video clips from another hunt at the end of the video to flesh this out a bit. I hope you enjoy the video!
We always enjoy the videos, Chigg! Hope you and the kittens (and Miss Lindsey) are doing well ... ! Thank you for all you do. - Muddypaw 🐾
Of course we do,. Always nice to see a new location and what it holds.
I love ferocious bambi's Chigg🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌
I'm a little hurt... You're in West Virginia and you didn't stop by to say hi?
Jim is a great detecting partner.... always happy to see him detecting with you Beau. Thanks Jim for keeping Beau out of trouble!
We go back many decades....he is always a lot of fun to be around.
@@aquachigger Friends like that are the real treasure!
Indian artefacts, coins, buckles and dear! You have it all. Keep it up!
The Deer didn't know where to run haha, thanks for sharing with us .
It's really remarkable when you look at it. In just a few hours we saw centuries of habitation in a relatively small piece of land.
It poses the question every time I look at a field or into the woods. Who's been there and when? Finding out is just a matter of getting your eyes and coil on the ground and finding out by what's left behind. Nice hunt Beau👍
How did I miss this! Oh well, better late than never. Always love the Indian artifacts that don't require a metal detector, as you always tell us to take our "blinders off". Nice hunt.
That tomahawk head was a shingling axe. Hammer for driving it down to slit a shingle off and reverse to nail the shingle in place on the roof.
Thanks for the id
Beau, I'm curious why there are consistently 10s of thousands of views, yet a very small percentage of "likes"? It's so easy to hit the like button as your videos provide not just entertainment, but are informative as you share your knowledge of history and discover our buried past. I'm just trying to understand. Thanks for taking the time to share your adventures.
Aloha Chigg, from Native American point, to civil war, to chemtrails. Spanning the ages. Thanks for the comradery!
Awesome variety of treasures, y'all 👍!!✌🍀
Nice spot you got there can't wait to see more !!!

Old Chigg searches an Old Farm. Let me get my ice tea.
Should send that army truck to Marty's matchbox makeovers, looks like an old matchbox to me.
Another great video! Awesome deer shed!
Great video brother thank you so very much for sharing 👍👍❤️
Love you chigg!!!!
Thank you for taking us along on another adventure 👍
Thanx Chigg for another great AQUACHIGGER ADVENTURE. Loved seeing the Deer in OVERDRIVE !!!!!
Heading out after those finds!!!; )
Love watching the videos
Thanks
Glad you're back hunting
That antler is a beauty. If you'd want to you should take a day to specifically look for sheds, some of the farms you have permission at look like they'd be great for it.
Hi good morning good luck today....
Thank you very much man!
Great native find!
See you on the next one Chigg and maybe Jim GOD BLESS y’all Amen 🙏
That was fun. I really enjoy your videos 👍👍
Thanks 👍
I miss the death squeal of the rubber chicken. A nice day to be in the field.
Good morning from Southeast South Dakota
The ax hammer head might be a tool for installing split shake shingles. It’s like to one passed down by my great uncle Seymour who was a blacksmith.
Great looking shed! Fun dig Chig
First likkkeeeeeeee, on real note, I can’t wait for the ground to thaw and I can get out and dig!!!!
That antler crown would make an amazing custom knife handle!
For sure.
Great back to metal detecting. 😅The Chigg must have been let of kitty duty today again ! 😁🐱🍼
Little truck looks like a Dinky Toy.
Good finds. I want to go metal detecting 😮💨
Man thought I was subed to you but found out I was not, well I am now, thanks for sharing your adventure in my home state. and keep diggin.
Glad to hear that. I hear that it's pretty easy to get unsubbed for some reason.
When the Beau goes Chigg Chigg Chiggin along!
Nice finds!
5:41 It could be the button off the top of farmer Bill's John deere ball cap.
The Chigg is back! Chiggman's back! Find it bro
Well We Did Get To Go Have A little Fun Today.😎👍✌.
Lizzy Borden?😂😂 2:27
My buddy said Aquachigger just posted a new video. I said "I bet he sees some kind of bone and says something about it being human bones in the video, saying "Human" in a strange way". 😅 less than 2 minutes in, he said it.
Very much enjoyed. New sub 🙂
First! Love your vids chig!
Glad you like them!
You guys are ALMOST as good as Heath!
Shield type nickels wear easiest so I reckon that mystery nickel is likely shield type
Mountain momma, take me home.
Supposedly written within sight of this farm. Or at least inspired there.
😊
😀💙
Hey Chigg and whoever else is with you if anyone
The Indians just didn’t leave metal objects behind for us to find. It seems quite special to find worked stone arrowhead and spare pieces. Just to think that the last human that held it was an Indian from many years ago is amazing.
Deer in overdrive
Hello from a fellow metal detectorist from Nebraska. Was the coin sized object you found a V nickel ? Just gotta know. In 12 years detecting have dug only 7 of them....tough find.
Keep up the informative, light hearted videos !
Ching,
I’m glad your feeling better.
You have a beautiful home.
How are mamma cat and the kittens doing?
The great Deer affair:)
Cheers,
Rik
Cha-Ching….?
Thanks. Kitties are growing.
WORD ON THE STREET THAT THE GARRET TEAM ARE SUPERSPREADERS!! GLAD YOUR ALL OKAY
Bring out the grunting chicken again!
That’s a half hatchet or some such thing. I’ve seen many of them far worse than that, when the break the handle they just grab the hammer and keep splitting kindling!
i live near there
What do you use for ticks, we have a lot of them around my neck of the woods
permethrin

@@RaceCar21 thank you
@Chad... and a Chigg "heart".
@@aquachigger im a big fan of finding old axe heads. Are you going to clean that one up you found so you can date it?
Could it be the remains of a skin scraper .?.
Probably a knife.
You didn't show the nickel lol
Ever found human bones?
Yes indeed. Even a bloated body once.
Your videos are getting shorter and shorter
Maybe the deer was running from...... SAMSQUATCH>>???
