They may be typing as you walk up to the window, and even continue throughout the interview. They may be looking at their computer screen why they talk to you. And, they might not even make much eye contact with you at all during the course of the interview.

The VO was typing the whole time he was interviewing me, I just stopped talking waiting for him because I didn’t want to be rude, talking to him when he was working.Ben I was obviously very wrong. Sad to say I was refused my F1 visa 214b. Now I get it

I applied for C1D visa to join the ship from Miami they gave me letter stating 221g administration processing what this means? Also they gave me passport back this means my visa denied?they informed me we will contact you if we decide to approve the visa.

Question: why are you travelling to US?
My Answer : For tourism. for 10 days to NY
Question: Have to travelled any other countries, name the countries ,
My answer yes to far east countries and gulf but last 5 year I couldn't travel much because my son was too young to travel with and due to corona pandemic but before that I did travel,
She muted my mic on the above answer , talked to the VO next window for some time and then get back to me and continued questions again.
Question: what is your average income
Answer:. My husband is a It director his salary is AED ******and he do stock trading also, and we have investments in real estate in DUBAI ( we have our own house in UAE) and in our home country too.
Question" is your spouse travelling with you and Do your husband has Valid US Visa?
My Answer ? No.
Question: Do you have relatives in US
My Answer : Yes My cousin lives in US and I am going to stay in her house but my husband is sponsoring my trip all expenses.
How long you are living in UAE:
My Answer: Since 2011
have you travelled to US before?
My Answer : No
does your spouse has valid US visa
My Answer : No
and after all these my visa got denied, I was honest with my answers , no lies or fabrication despite my visa was denied. Please take my case and guide me where I was wrong.

I agree with the video. My Visa Interviewer asked me questions and all the while typing stuff on the computer hardly looking at me.. only pausing to see my passport for previous travel history .. and Boom Visa Approved after just-10 mins !!
Thanks for sharing. People often get confused or concerned when they think the Visa Officer isn't listening to them, but it's very common for them to be looking away or typing during the interview.
I had the same story 17 y.a. That the officer looked at me for first 10-15 sec, after he was typing, printing, walking but continuously listening. I also was not getting a question ever it was to far or I didn't get it, although after I said that I don't understand the question, the officer rephrase it and I was able to respond.
As I am saying they are paying full attention and multitasking.

When you say they are looking at your application does that mean they have access to our sat test results and our academic performance scores? If not what access do they have when you say by "your application"

Actualy,my interview have taken by two officers one was sit on chair other one was stand near to him i dont know whats the matter i never hired about 2 officers together on interview moreover overall my interview was going smothly but at the end he asked me my fmly nd work nd i didnt explain properlly about my fimaly nd there income(savings) becouse when i was giving answer they talking with each other n typing something n i stoped than he said take your time u do not have sufficient balance ur furture study😌but i have plz suggest me what i do next

Should I reschedule the interview appointment for my dad as his medical is not clear. Or he can show up with my mom as Noth have appointment at the sane time abd tell them that take Mt interview abd hold on my visa till my medical will be clear??

My f-1 visa attempt was denied under 214-B. I said my uncle is my sponsor but in the sponsor letter it said 'family friend'. visa officer noticed that and asked me then why it says family friend?!?!
