I just made your recipe it's in the refrigerator now cooling. And I did take some of the advice that you gave to the lady "nessa's nook" and I cooked the peanut butter, marshmallow and condensed milk mixture for probably an extra 5 minutes after it was all Incorporated to help thicken it and I let it set for 4 or 5 minutes off the stove cooling to let it thicken up even more before I poured it into the 9x13 bowl over the nuts. Other than that I followed the recipe exactly and I will let you know how it turns out it looks awesome and thank you for posting the recipe.
Thanks again for the recipe! They turned out great. Just finished the last one yesterday so they keep well in the fridge too. I also melted some chocolate and dipped some of them, kinda like a babe Ruth bar.
This candy bar and snickers are my favorite candy bars. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤.I wasted my niece to buy me the mini pay days that were on my grocery list and she didn't, so I ordered a box 🗃 from Amazon that will arrive Monday 😊😊😊. should got some snickers too!!. back in the day my favorite was three musketeers. my go to snack is Ruffles Potatoe chips and Pay Day candy bars. and I'm definitely not on a Diet!!!!.❤
I swear that Payday Bars are responsible for the "Salted Caramel" craze we have to day, My Dad used to buy these in the late 60's early 70's and I think every kid that tasted one back then "didn't like it" they would rather have a Snickers or whatever, but as we grow and change, more and more people like the mildly sweet tamed by the Salt and Peanuts. I'm a retired guy that has fun little part time job at a cool little market, and ANYTHING we make "Salted Caramel" flies off the shelves faster than we can make it. I like to make sweet goodies for my co workers and give them a shot of energy during the Day that's why I'm here, this looks awesome.
They are a great pick-me-up when no time to eat. Some have had trouble with them being "too soft." Here is the video that will avoid that problem. Have a great night! ruclips.net/video/UzEQFC5PacA/видео.html
They are really good. Be sure to watch the "Problem Solved" video that's coming out on the 8th. It answers some questions that viewers have asked. Thanks for watching!
@Nessa's Nook Sorry for the slow response, we are running hard this holiday season. Here are some suggestions that could help. 1. 2 cups marshmallows - the very first time I ever made these, my bag of marshmallows read 16oz, so I dumped entire bag in pot....MISTAKE. I measure out 2 cups now (thicker) 2. I am sometimes a little generous with the pb chips (thicker) 3. Boiling your mixture a bit longer (thicker) just don't scorch These are things that have worked for me. I also pack it just as full of nuts as I can, I think that helps hold things together. I also live in the deep south where it has been in the 80s here at Christmas time, so I do store in fridge. But, with all that said, these things have brought me to a product that my family and I really enjoy. I wish you much success, happy cooking, and Merry Christmas 🎅🎄❤️ (keep me updated)
This recipe is legit. I just made some last night. Only thing I wish is that the peanut butter mixture would harden up more for easier handling. Once you set them back out to eat, they lose their form a little when they warm back up. But super delicious

I have been wondering how it is, I could make a payday and well, I guess it paid off finding your channel! Although the original payday bar does not have any of this in it aside from the butter/vegetable oil. I’m going to try it. It looks delicious. It definitely looks the same as well.
I've been after a pretty good recipe of paydays without peanuts, I'm going to go ahead and try yours and just not use peanuts, my aim is for the Carmel nugget inside of a Payday by itself
try cooking your pb mixture just a little longer and see if that helps...although some refrigeration may be needed. I live in a really hot climate and I keep mine in fridge anyway. One of the earlier comments stated they cooked theirs a bit longer and they turned out perfect. Just be careful not to scorch.
Yum! Thank you for the recipe!😊❤️
Hope you enjoy

@@rhondanichols8437 thank you
i just made mine thank you much i love making new things
I always heard it was vanilla fudge. Could you use white chocolate chips instead of peanut butter?
hmmm, sounds like it would be good. I wonder if it would taste mote like a divinity instead of pb. worth a try
This recipe is legit. I just made some last night. Only thing I wish is that the peanut butter mixture would harden up more for easier handling. Once you set them back out to eat, they lose their form a little when they warm back up. But super delicious
Were you ever able to have it be like how the pay days were not as loosing form when warming up? If so what did you do?
Mine never set up
Maybe less condensed milk and more peanut butter chips. Not sure. Mine were the same way. Need to be firmer

Please do! But watch my current video (problem solved) for a helpful tip
Now my question is, do you have to use marshmallows? Or can you use the fluff stuff?
I've never tried fluff, give it a try and let me know
What can you do to firm up the mixture. Taste great but not as firm as a payday,,
Watch this follow-up video, it will correct the "softness" problem. Have a great day!

smart. and simple thank you
Good 👍
Amazing! How long can they be stored? Frozen? Refrigerated? Just left out?
I have never stored for long. A week in fridge is as long as I've needed.
I've been after a pretty good recipe of paydays without peanuts, I'm going to go ahead and try yours and just not use peanuts, my aim is for the Carmel nugget inside of a Payday by itself
THANKS YOU GOODNESS 🌟 DAPHNE COTTON ALWAYS 💜, AWESOME
You are so welcome!

Yun thankyoui

Hi! How do you get the sauce to harden so they dont melt at room temp? Thanks!

I want use real peanut butter… anyone know how much PB instead of the “chips” ?
I don't know without testing it. I wonder if they would set up using real pb??
@ I’ve gotta try… maybe a little less than 2 cups, since it calls for 16 ounces of chips ??? Will let you know!
Oops 12 ounces !
Yummy yummy I got love in my tummy
😋 yep
Mine doesntvset up firm enough
sorry to hear that...don't give up
