To be become eligible for citizenship of the United States a person has had to have been a LEGAL PERMANENT RESIDENT for a minimum of 5 years and has to pass a citizen and naturalization exam. Not .sure how long it takes to have an opportunity to become a legal permanent resident though. The REAL red tape is the immigration process itself which can take 10 to 20 years in some cases, as current law requires any immigrant to have a sponsor (such as a potential employer or a charity organization). You would think the tyrannical left would try and fix that problem, but that would require actual cooperation and negotiation. They'd rather perform a coup de taut. If an illegal alien has a child with a citizen, the child can be a citizen. I work all over the world, the company I work for obtains work vias for me in the country I am going to work in. At the end of the job the visa is canceled and I am required to leave the country. If the American companies need help from foreign countries have them obtain work visas from the US Government for these foreign countries when they no longer need them to cancel their visas and send them back to the country they came from. This is what is required from all of the other countries in the world why can't the USA do this? I worked for a company in the USA that needed more construction workers, they had to put adds in the local newspaper requesting help, before they could apply to the US government for work visas for Canadian workers to come down. After the job was done the Canadians were sent back and their work visas were canceled such a simple process the US Government needs to do this
As a Native born Texan, we do not have an issue with immigrants coming to the United States Of America to work and raise their Families. Just before this video Richard Dreyfus said very plainly stating the simple fact that this Judge just ruled on what has all ready existed and been in place. Congress can rule on and is the one specifically that can hold back federal money to states. Well lets get congress to do so with the president (presiding) over congress to make it happen..... not complicated and i honestly believe there are enough votes to get that situation resolved.
Are we not a country of laws? Why is it so hard to just read the US Constitution. Article VI, Clause two provides that the Constitution, and federal laws made pursuant to it and under its authority, constitute the supreme law of the land. It provides that state courts are bound by the supreme law; in case of conflict between federal and state law, the federal law must be applied. Even state constitutions are subordinate to federal law. The SUPREME COURT can and should find that the creation of Sanctuary cities is undermining and bypassing federal law. They can declare the creation of these cities as illegal.

That part is actually tricky. To be become eligible for citizenship of the United States a person has had to have been a LEGAL PERMANENT RESIDENT for a minimum of 5 years and has to pass a citizen and naturalization exam. Not .sure how long it takes to have an opportunity to become a legal permanent resident though. The REAL red tape is the immigration process itself which can take 10 to 20 years in some cases, as current law requires any immigrant to have a sponsor (such as a potential employer or a charity organization). You would think the tyrannical left would try and fix that problem, but that would require actual cooperation and negotiation. They'd rather perform a coup de taut. I like what maria Salazar said at the end, 5:23, give them some type of legality, not citizenship. It's possible to be a legal resident without being a citizen. Legal residence and guest worker programs are the way to go, not citizenship for someone who came illegally. Only those who came legally should ever be considered for citizenship. Only if they have become legal residents should their children born here be granted citizenship. Children born to illegal aliens should remain with their parents if the parents are deported. If an illegal alien has a child with a citizen, the child can be a citizen. If an illegal alien has a child with a legal resident, the child can be a legal resident, but the illegal alien should in either instance be deported. If it is more important to the spouse/partner to keep the family together than to be legal residents of this country, they are free to go. That's the way I would like to see it.

Can anyone understand that many of us have chosen to pursue this issue because we have the privilege to immediately cut back illegals from our country...? I do not feel comfortable knowing I'm running a bank for illegal immigrants. The wall is a great gesture of the order we place for our very own citizens. I'm also unimpressed with those DACAS and ANCHOR babies who feel we owe them particularly of the fact we have supported them for years. Did they really become civil with all that education? I work all over the world, the company I work for obtains work vias for me in the country I am going to work in. At the end of the job the visa is canceled and I am required to leave the country. If the American companies need help from foreign countries have them obtain work visas from the US Government for these foreign countries when they no longer need them to cancel their visas and send them back to the country they came from. This is what is required from all of the other countries in the world why can't the USA do this? I worked for a company in the USA that needed more construction workers, they had to put adds in the local newspaper requesting help, before they could apply to the US government for work visas for Canadian workers to come down. After the job was done the Canadians were sent back and their work visas were canceled such a simple process the US Government needs to do this

As a Native born Texan, we do not have an issue with immigrants coming to the United States Of America to work and raise their Families. What we have a problem with is the illegal crimes that some commit, the tax fraud that some commit , the programs that we as citizens have to pay for but can not use. Health care and education programs are not available for citizens at an affordable cost, but are seemingly free for illegal immigrants that have paid nothing.
