I have a 2017 Dodge Journey and the ignition switch will not cycle from the off position. I've tried the remote to button method, checked fuses as well. I also noticed the gauges do not display anything as well as only the interior and exterior lights are only think that will work.
I have a question, I have a 2010 Dodge Journey I put a new water pump and timing belt and a new throttle body. And it ran great for a week, shut it off, and now no power to the coils. Please help.
@@gohan9638 where in the transmission? We looked all over the engine even video record the engine. Exactly where please I want my SUV back up & running
@@summerfraser1652 lol sorry got mixed up that piece is located on the passenger side, behind the alternator you will see a wire that's connected into the engine just unscrew the bolt pulled it out put the new one in connect the wire in ,your done not even 5 minutes
I have delay in starting up my 2009 Dodge Journey. I have changed out the fuel pump, the battery and the spark plugs. There is nothing wrong with the ignition switch. I’m wondering if you can help me figure out the problem? I did not change out the fuses and that will be next step
2010 Dodge journey 3.5 L Doesn't always start. If you put your foot on the break and the key in the on position and put the car in neutral it will start. Is there a fix to this issue?
I change the coil pack a changes for a plug I change the computer and it's still doing the same on the plug that goes into the coil pack one side has electricity and the other side doesn't I trace the wire back to the computer and it's good I put a voltage meter and there's current going through it but it's still doing the same thing and it's driving me crazy
I have a problem with my Journey 2009. 2.7L V6 FlexFuel. 2023 May, first alternator went bad and after that battery. I replaced new alternator and battery. But now I've noticed that after 2 days of sitting (not using the car) the battery has drained, no power. I jumpstarted it and I checked charging voltage 14.6V. So alternator should be OK since it's brand new and charging. Also battery was few weeks ago warranty changed, so 2 new batteries cannot be bad. I noticed when voltage was low and it didn't start due low voltage, I couldn't use central locking button to open doors because too low voltage so I used key to open doors. So my car alarm tried to alarm and I heard many relays clicking because low voltage and couldn't use fob key, so I needed to jumpstart again to get antitheft OFF. Also I noticed when voltage was low and it didn't start, that right side tail blinker light was lit, very dim. So there is new alternator and new battery, and alternator charges very well. What might be the issue that if it stays still for 2 days, battery has gone low voltage and it won't start? My friend told me that in his Voyager was same problem and cause for that was bad Main Relay. Can it be the same in my case? Because when antitheft went ON and car alarm too because I opened the door with key and not with key fob, those relays started to click click click due too low voltage? Thank you for your help.

Might want to check your alternator. I know this is a few years late but your specific problem is usually a dead/weak battery and or the alternator
