so my idea is quite simple we can use this display for certain purpose like building an user friendly ai the works like an assistant for some creators who build some creative projects moreover we can add esp32 cam board to make it more interactive. since this is an development board we can make an AGI Beta model that is nearly made with some people tracking sensors and automation
this could be an revolution in making ai easier instead of using complex system ..Hence i would be able to make an AI system that can interact with people like alexa does but with some features that we do to interact (aka like terminator jk ) thank you

Smart Conference Room Scheduler: Create a scheduling system for conference rooms, with the ESP32 display showing current bookings, available time slots, and the ability to book or cancel reservations via integration with calendar services like Google Calendar.
In our college canteen we have a token based system, means the customers have to go to the lady and after paying her the amount she provides the food coupon with the Amount printed on it. So if it is possible to make a food coupon vending machine where after successful payment the machine should print the amount on a paper. This will decrease the amount of gathering and rush occurred during the lunch break.
Uptime monitoring system. Which monitors all my websites, online presence, my digital footprints etc., and update me in real-time without any delay. This is really useful for every maker out there in makerspace and every content creator ✨
If I have this display then I will change my normal electric scooter with smart features (like OLA's features) I will stick this display on my scooter's analog meter, and then I will make UI in squareLine studio where I can see everything, Map, speed, time ... and also I want to make like , I can unlock, lock my scooter using this Display phone(using esp32)
I think you need to add some kind of GSM module with it as it will not have 4G/ 5G connection or you have to connect it to you mobile hotspot.
Again I think for this type of feature I think SBC like raspberry pi is better not ESP32.
I hope I am right.
@arijitghosh8292 Yes thank you for your opinion, by the way, I am also thinking that I can add a GSM module using which I can archive lots of things like Alert messages, location, etc..
So this is a good idea.
But now i have not Rasberry and it is costly so that's why i want to use esp32 and Arduino uno

Oh, a good idea to make you a normal EV to make a smart EV...
If you have this display then you can do like lock and unlock your EV using a password or patterns..

Waiter Bot for hotels in which it will go the customers via line following robot along with a stop for each table(it will be also equipped with automatic obstacle avoiding system). The manager sees a waiting customer and sends the bot to that table via a phone app. The customer places an order from an interactive touchscreen of our Crowpanel. And the bot takes the order and uploads the data of the order along with the order note(if any) and uploads it into the web server. Where it will be informed to the cooks or chefs again with a specially dedicated app for them. If I would win this giveaway, I'm sure I can develop this because I have all the components required for this except the Crowpanel. Also due to the Crowpanel's simplistic UI designing it would be obviously easy and also as I'm an app developer, it would be easy for me to develop dedicated apps for all these.
I this this display is best for Smart Home Automation projects. I am currently working on it. Using this display we can add password protection system in our Smart Home Automation so that if we don't want anyone else to access our smart home we can do so. Also I am experimenting on facial recognition using cheap camera modules. Hopefully this display will help me in my experiment.
I ll attach this display to my main room in my house so I can controll all the smart iot devices from single place.
I am doing research on water quality, and developing some inhouse sensor for iron and arsenic detection along with pathogens detection, also using market available sensors, to build a comprehensive in-line real time system. With this display I can give my project a modern looking interface for users, currently i am using LCD displays and buttons. I am continuously developing the overall systems.

I just received my 5 inch hmi and watched the first two lessons on their youtube. I think my module is defective. I did the same steps as you did in your video. one thing I noticed from a few other youtubers who reviewed this exact module is they plugged in the unit just to power it up and the Ellen Smith picture should show up. You showed this screen shot at the 1:10 mark. Everyone should do that step first to see if the module actually has the factory setting working. Mine didn't and I wasted a bunch of time trying to get it working with back and forth messages to elecrow both on their forum and emails when I try to get a replacement module. The one other thing i would suggest is actually show the upload with how the boot and reset button have to be pushed in the correct order. overall your video is way better than their videos on their course. Maybe someday they will give me a replacement!! PITAC (Pain In The Ass Company)

Do people realize that modules running Android 12 equipped with an ARM SoC with 10x the clock rate, an FHD resistive touch screen, a battery, and half the thickness are available for the same price as this device?
How about compatibility with sensors? Also isn't Android coding more difficult than Arduino ? plus the OS keeps killing long running apps to save battery.

a display that is present on the restaurant tables where the customer can select the menu items themselves by looking at the options and once he confirms the order that will directly go to the restaurant kitchen and then upi payment
home automation, i would use the display for home automation to show the home status like showing the temp humidity or some recent news but for also for my pets like turning off or on the fan for them according to the temprature and a fully fledged homesafety system combined with vc 02 for voice control as well and also embedd chat gpt api in it (if possible) and i will try to make it wireless and portable.

I have the Idea to use it to display controls for a farming project that will integrate Ai systems to automatically set perfect conditions for various crops and also record weather to get the best suited for high yield
a smart display project.
I want to use the bioamp EXG pill to record EMG signals, I can use this as a hub and connect a battery powered esp32 with the EXG pill to my body, using esp now I can then share the data to the display and visualise it real time, the display's touch screen would mean I won't need any buttons in this setup to start and stop recording, with the inbuilt sd card reader I can save the data for further analysis as well. The project's overall goal is to understand EMG data better and real time in the gym, with that I would like to create a workout set quality parameter, this can be later adopeted to future smart watchs.
With the help of this display, i will use display with an Raspberry pi pico connected via UART to create a Steam Deck alternative to send Macro Commands to execute Keyboard commands on computer or control the home automation scenes for home assistant. Using the SPI communication, the device can also control the brightness using an ambient light sensor.

Thank you for this great tutorial. I would also be interested in the dynamic QR code features! Also, once payment is made the panel should be able to send pulses in order to activate the vending machine. How would one use the IO's on the panel to achieve this. Or better yet... include MiFare to read a card, validate funds and process the vend transaction as an additional payment method.
