Love the white wide leg jeans, but at $148 there a little too rich for me. Any suggestions for a cheaper dupe? Thanks for the great video.
I don't like the wide leg pants trend - in general, I think they make people look shorter and squatter. Only flowy pants with wide legs look flattering for my body type (5'6", size 8). I just hate this trend, especially in jeans.

I appreciate the tip about black shoes with spring dresses. Something that changed things for me was Trinny London saying "black kills color, wear black with neutrals." I used to wear black pants to work all the time with bright colored tops and jackets. But I've adopted this guideline, and, for me, it makes all the difference. I love color -- even more now that I wear it with navy, sage, white, cream, camel, etc. I save my black bottoms for my neutral tops.

Thank you for your efforts - I keep trying different styles, but I am still in love with skinnies. When I look at the pictures of Kelli in skinnies, I think they look great. It's so hard to get out of that rut. I do like the occasional flare as well, but the wide legs scare me a little bit! 😅
We totally get it! There’s no need to wear all of the styles, just find a few that you love & that suit you best.

Your outfits look great and styled beautifully but i have one thing about women over 40 wearing shorts😢. If women all had legs like both of you I couldn’t agree more and if you live in a warmer part of the country go ahead. Unfortunately a lot of us past 40 or on should NOT wear minis or shorts above the knee. Flabby legs, veins, hanging knees just don’t look good on the majority of us, especially for work. Let’s keep it real.
It is absolutely about what you feel confident in. Some women like to show more skin on top & some on bottom. You should focus on your best assets for sure😊
I find many women over 40, start finally concentrating more on themselves and take their health more seriously, with eating and exercise, and have amazing legs, plus your legs don’t have to be perfect to show some skin. We are too hard on ourselves sometimes as women. By the way, what are hanging knees? I have honestly never heard of that.
I think anyone of any age with some of those issues would not feel their best in shorts. But women shouldn’t think they shouldn’t wear shorts JUST because they are over 40.

I don’t care for rompers at all. Anything that I have to take the whole thing down to use the restroom, I’ll pass! What constitutes a mini dress is subjective, and I must say, I usually see them worn too short; if I can’t move too much without showing practically my upper thigh - and I have decent legs - it doesn’t look great and it’s not practical.
