Did you try to remove the exact nut that the milwaukee wasn't able to remove? That would be interesting. Because it might have been this specific nut that was the problem.
Still staying with my dewalt dcf899m1 1200ft lbs breakaway is all I need I sold my Milwaukee impact. Lowe’s has sale on the dewalt 1/2 newest impact for 199 it’s a kit with battery and charger . Can’t beat that .
Yeah, the half inch is just a starter but will compete with anyone elses top of the line. My 1" wears out the pneumatic gun with 160 psi on 3/4 airline.
I work with 18 wheelers and I have the same milwaukee 2767 high torque and I never have problems removing lug nuts it take it takes them out like nothing
I'm a steel erector and just bought the Ryobi 18v impact wrench. Its fantastic I wasn't expecting it to be as good as DeWalt or Milwaukee (never used Ingersoll) but it's an awesome wrench and never lets me down. Would definitely recommend. And it's not buy the body only like most are now it comes with battery and charger.....charge time is quick and full to flat battery is long. Great tool and price at £150.
Because no one accepts that Ingersoll brand w7152 is better than other machines, I am a mechanic and I wouldn't change my impact gun for anything. I have the Milwaukee 2767-20 but it is very noisy and hits hard when turning, instead the Ingersoll is quieter and hits softer. .. on the other hand I use Milwaukee M12 FUEL 2565-20 ratchet. because it has 220 torque. because I can use it in tight places

If you want the best cordlesd impact get what I have in my my shop and in the drag cars trailer Matco 20v, 5.0ah, 1/2" drive, 1600 ft lbs tq. He is the most powerful I've used and I've had these 3 mac and snap on.

I saw another tool guy do this same test and the IR came in last. I own Milwaukee and IR so I am not favoring Milwaukee... just saying. My 1/2" drive Milwaukee will ring off a grade 8 3/8"(9/16" head) bolt like its plastic so its strong enough for me. But that being said it's not strong as my IR 1/2" drive AIR impact. I have seen them taken apart and IR has a much better hammer mechanism but they don't have a brushless motor unless that has changed recently. DeWalt is just Black and Decker box store junk so I won't even mention them. I also have a Milwaukee 3/4" and 1" drive and they are impressive as well but they won't touch my IR air powered impacts. I run a large logging company so I know heavy tools and I would take an IR or Milwaukee over that yellow junk anyday!!
the most important thing about a cordless powertool is battery life. all three of these look like capable tools but iknow the dewalts batteries are great
IR is $513, amilwaukee 2767 $435 or newer one key 2863 $500. And Dewalt DCF 899 is $300. So yeah there is difference in price but IR and Milwaukee are about same price

Dewalt usa models will outlast any China made Milwaukee. IR 7252 just kills every impact gun out there even the m18 fuel with high performance battery. And..its made in USA so you don't have to support the communist country when you buy it

I find it hard to believe the MW didn't pull that lug off. My 2767 can remove a 33mm lug with a 1/2 to 3/4 in. socket adapter. Something ain't right here. It doesn't even sound like it's at full power. Yes I am biased to MW because they serve me well and don't disappoint.

Not a fair comparison the 2767 has 300 more ft lbs of torque,you should have put the 2763 vs the DCF899 would be about the same but the Milwaukee is still a lil bit more powerful.
Should add the makita to the mix. I have one for work and the thing hits unbelievably hard. The milwaukee and dewalt are very strong, but the makita hits completely different, less frequency but a lot of force behind each blow
My Milwaukee 1/2 inch takes off semi lug nuts that are 33 mm alot better then that 1 with a 4amp on it took off 8 drives rims just today and only used 1 bar of battery life on a 2000 KW that the rims been on there for over 10 years with steel rims that has alot of rust. I have alot of the 1inch IR air guns but didnt have air where I took them off at

You can clearly hear the dewalts battery is tired.. Put a 54v on it use it as 20v max, there will happen things instead of the old beat up battery with half its capacity
Used to be MW fan, switched to IR coz that bright light-ring. Power-wise yea IR is better and a bit lighter. In regular auto/tire shop u probably won’t tell much of the diff til u using it on trucks. Also MW is better when it comes to warranty/service.

The head to head is a neat test but it isn’t the best. IR is made to reach its peak torque quickly and then levels out while the Milwaukee has a more gradual increase but higher overall torque
Sometimes the Dewalt is cheaper. I just picked up a Milwaukee 2767 from HD for $229 today, with a free 5 amp battery included. I'll pick up a charger from Amazon for around $35, and have a total investment of $265 for impact, battery and charger, not including taxes. You might beat that price on a sale for the Dewalt, but not by much.
The Milwaukee has a small hammer. I had the Milwaukee gun and wasn’t that impressed with it. Traded it in on the ir gun and its very impressive. Only thing I like from Milwaukee is the m12 line

Lol your comparing 18v Milwaukee to 20v Dewalt and IR. The Milwaukee wins every time. It has the best batteries on the market. It also is 2 less V than all the major impacts which does make a big difference.
they're all the same voltage. 18V nominal. The Milwaukee actually has a battery advantage in this video because those HO batteries can deliver 60-70 Amps. Where as a 5.0 from Dewalt/IR/Milwaukee will be in the ballpark of ~45A. So even if we pretend Milwaukee has 2 fewer Volts the excuse doesn't really fly because it's drawing from a battery with a significantly larger power envelope.
Buddy I am just saying I'm a long time Milwuakee fan and started with All Dewalt tools. Just bought the Ingersoll and it puts my milwukee in the dirt. Not saying the milwuakee is a bad tool just don't have the same kick but. I work on heavy trucks and equipment

Just for your info the longer you press the trigger the weaker the impact wrench gets use short 10 second burst and you'll get better results

it would be smart to apply the same effort to each tool . the first test with the IR was biased towards the IR effort wise. not equal test

I like all of them, they all make the job easier as long as you used them the right way and not abuse them..

Lol your comparing 18v Milwaukee to 20v Dewalt and IR. The Milwaukee wins every time. It has the best batteries on the market. It also is 2 less V than all the major impacts which does make a big difference.
they're all the same voltage. 18V nominal.
The Milwaukee actually has a battery advantage in this video because those HO batteries can deliver 60-70 Amps. Where as a 5.0 from Dewalt/IR/Milwaukee will be in the ballpark of ~45A.
So even if we pretend Milwaukee has 2 fewer Volts the excuse doesn't really fly because it's drawing from a battery with a significantly larger power envelope.

Buddy I am just saying I'm a long time Milwuakee fan and started with All Dewalt tools. Just bought the Ingersoll and it puts my milwukee in the dirt. Not saying the milwuakee is a bad tool just don't have the same kick but. I work on heavy trucks and equipment
I have tried Milwaukee. It looses power after it gets hot. Not impressed. I will try ingersoll.
The brushless Milwaukees are extremely impressive.mine recently got stolen though. I just bought a brushed set to replace them so I guess I will see if they lose power
