  • The Minnesota Timberwolves improved to 2-0 after holding the Phoenix Suns to only 93 points. Kevin Durant finished with 18 points off 6-for-15 shooting, while Anthony Edwards had 15 points but stepped up on defense with Jaden McDaniels and had eight assists. Skip Bayless, Rachel Nichols and Keyshawn Johnson react to Game 2, then break down whether the T-Wolves are underrated or the Suns' issues are simply more visible now.

Rachel carried today’s show, she actually follows the sport, knows the players, the numbers and their current form.
Key and Skip are still convinced KD is a top 3 player, despite the fact he’s been poor in the post season since that Celtics beat down.
This isn’t controversial, the higher seeded team with the best player is winning. This is only shocking if you haven’t watched the game in 3-5 years.

how stupid NBA media coverage is to fixate unrelentingly on individual stars in a team sport.
      Basketball is a team sport.
And basketball is played at its highest level... and is most entertaining to watch ..when you have a whole team playing together in harmony; 6 or 7 guys all contributing.

Rudy and KAT are both hated/underrated. Nobody but basketball sickos know Jaden and NAW are all-defensive quality defenders. The reason Booker and Beal have struggled is Ant is a great on ball defender and Jaden is a top 10 defender in the league. Add in NAW off the bench and there are no breaks for any of the Suns' stars. Throw in the DPOY behind them and it shouldn't be a surprise that the Suns are struggling with the increased physicality in the playoffs against a bigger, longer, stronger opponent.
Ant put it best. "They got KD but we got Jaden McDaniels".

Whether it is his fault or not, KD must face the fact that he underachieved in this game for the moment. I hope he has enough left in the tank for the future.
