Excellent video tutorial! I'm new to Davinci and have a few questions. 1. Is there a way to increase the size of the audio meter on the right side of the edit page without switching to the fair light page? It is very small. If I set the GUI to 200% what would that change? 2. How do you reset the timeline timecode to zero vs the default 1 hour readout? 3. The single preview mode I prefer to use seems to cut a little headroom off a talking head. I think it's set to fit or 100%. What is the full frame mode to see the entire raw clip? 4. Other than the mono option on the timeline, is there another way to copy right to left or left to right audio channels on a clip that has one channel only? 5. Do you have a multi-cam tutorial video? 6. Is there a .mov export codec option in export in the free version and what is the max kbps bit rate we can type in other than 80,000? 7. There needs to be a separate node for each color correction adjustment like gamma, highlights, contrast etc. a node for each vs. all in one adjustment. Is this correct? 8. There are some pretty nice 3D premade fusion titles that are thick and have cool animations. I'll learn to create one from scratch sometime if you have a tutorial video on 3d Titles. 9. How do I get the singe preview window mode to max out in size where it is very wide? Im using a high end pro laptop with 4K 3840 X 2160 screen resolution. I also always film and edit in UHD. 10. Are the built-in sound FX and music library copyright free and can they be used commercially beyond RUclips? I appreciate any info on the above questions.
I appreciate this video. I learned so many things. Do you have a slower tut for Dummies though? I understand slow is not good youtube format but... I'll be rewatching this many times. :D
'ppreciate you, brother. concise, succint, and informative. this feels like a much more advanced version of Shotcut, which is what i'm migrating from. but i feel confident enough to start messing around with it b/c of this vid so ty
u can do everything he explained in the video on capcut, and capcut probably has more effects, just "Copy" other RUclipsrs editing styles and be creative to make ur own.
@@oscaka0073 It all depends on what you want to do, I have know if CapCut has more effects, never used it, DVR is free unless you use the studio version. Try both and see which you like. I can say this video covers a very very basic user experience.
Hello sir... i've been trying to learn how to use Da vinci resolve watching different tutorial but none of you has my the same arrangement of what i can see on my screen; first after imported video I have four camera window which is making me overly confuse as a beginners. I downloaded DVR-19
ngl i think you should have used a bit of color correction on your face in the intro because the green from your green screen is reflecting onto your face

Any tips on editing for a small gaming channel like mine please? Or even thumbnails? I use capcut and picsart on my phone
