Don’t be fooled by people who look good and seem to know what they’re talking about.
I give plenty of examples in the video of experiences I’ve had where trainers were simply not providing value for their clients.
I’m upset. Some trainers put their clients at risk using exercises that are not functional or are too functional
for the clients.
Please be careful when choosing a trainer or who to take advice from. I highly recommend a holistic approach as taught by Paul Chek and the CHEK Institute. www.chekinstitute.com

The sad reality is majority of clients don’t care! They are preoccupied with their problems, stress and often look for a trainer who will tell them the secret of how to get results in 21-30 days. It’s sad, yet so many things you are saying are true. I honestly don’t know where to start. Your story is on point but the other side also has to be reviewed. Genuinely speaking majority of clients don’t care about anything a trainer will tell them no matter how much it costs. It’s such a blessing to meet committed client but just like the good trainers they are so far in between. Good luck and good video.

I just started as a pt..and for sure therea soo soo much I dont know yet..but I do know that form is everything. And those stories were crazy
I hired my first PT and I see he is not walking the talk . He doesn’t know I was an athlete for most my life and know things however I gave him the benefit of the doubt before making judgement ! Ahhaha clearly in this case I could of just went and done my own plan myself . He is always on his phone during the minute break btw reps, he is not focused on the work most of the time , he doesn’t reassess since many of his general pre-planned exercises aren’t suitable for me and my joints , he assumes I make excuses on heavy deadlifting when it’s my limitations that make that happen ! Complete nonsense and if the relationship is not built with your PT you will never feel at ease and feel like you are not supported ! No point really.
I likely have a slight pelvic tilt, when you have such a tight lower back, deadlifts should never be heavy- or avoided with alternate exercises for the hamstrings/whatever muscle you are targeting. So many personal trainers have never picked up on that so I got to a point that I just said “no deadlifts. I get injured.”
If you were an athlete most your life... why are you spending money on a personal trainer?
The trainers at my gym are trash. And this is a $80/month membership gym on top of whatever they're paying the trainers. They always have clients doing dumb shit too, exercises that ive never seen before. I think they think theyre being original or something.
Bodybuilding exercises are not functional for many clients.
