Farewell Tribute to SWISS 's Last "Jumbolino" Avro RJ100/RJ86 | BAe 146 | Aviation History

This is a video that I should have created long ago. In 2017, ‪@FlySWISS‬ bid farewell to its last 'Jumbolino' Avro RJ100/RJ86 or BAe 146. This aircraft holds a special place in aviation history, and it's personally significant to me as well. It was on a Crossair Avro Jumbolino that I took my very first flight as a 9-year-old, from LUG to ZRH.
I delved into my archives and carefully selected shots of the Avro that would craft a fitting farewell tribute. And here it is, albeit a bit delayed, but I sincerely hope that you'll still enjoy this fond look back at this remarkable aircraft and its legacy.

Wieso RJ86? Ist keine spezielle Version der RJ85, oder? Ging die nicht schon zehn Jahre vor dem letzten RJ100 komplett raus aus der Swiss Flotte?
