To all this people, who thinks, that they can’t do it because money: After passing the flight school, you can apply for a place at an airline. The airline pays the 80.000$ and you pay them back in a few years. Don’t think you can’t do it without money. My uncle didn’t have any money but he became the most important pilot of Lufthansa. (Sorry for my English, I’m German)

@@joelmathewv9673 join the air force! They'll pay you and after working there and getting all the licences, you can pay a small fee and convert them into commercial plane licenses.
@@TeakOrange I am living in India and here getting selected as pilot in Air force is really tough. If you didn't know but Indian defence force is the largest voluntary force in the world. There are lot of people aspiring to be in defence forces and combining that with the country's population being the 2nd largest in world. The selection ratio is 0.01% of the total applicants. For comparison thats more difficult than getting into IITs (it's the best colleges in our country for STEM)
But still I am trying to join Air force. Registration for the next batch has started, exams will be conducted in April and the SSB might start after few months (it's a kind of a interview which lasts 5 days, they check everything about ur personality and looks if you have the Officer like qualities. Only eligible for it after qualifying the exams). Hope to get selected as it will be my last chance to join NDA (national defence academy). After this there are other ways to join but the competition gets stupid crazy. Only 3 people are selected among 200000 approx applicants (the exam is called CDS).
This is a really inspirational video, I knew i wanted to be a pilot since i was a small kid but i came from a poor family and we moved to canada and my dad wanted me to become an engineer and i couldnt say no to him even though i knew where my true passion lied, i was always looking up. Years passed i graduated and became an engineer worked for 4 years saved money but i never felt satisfied i never felt happy and then last place i worked was near an airport and i would watch planes fly in and out every 3 minutes and i wanted to be up there but i was stuck to the ground thats when i decided to just go for it make my dream a reality. At the start my family was against it they were mad at me they said just do it as a hobby because it will take time to become a pilot and i will not make as much as i was making when i was an engineer but i never really cared about the money and i pushed back and started going to a flight school and 1 year later i have my PPL, Night Rating, doing CPL ..etc. What im trying to say is you will have people (even family) who might not understand why you would give up a life with money to persue flying but just follow your heart it really does know what u love to do, dont look at the money if u know you love to fly just go for it, Just believe in yourself.

Im graduate as engineer, just before corona smash everything. I've plan to money saving, for flight school. Then, now , 1 year after graduate, I still jobless.
I couldn’t say it any better. A lot of people change careers because they want to pursue their dreams. I’m working my ass off right now to save money in order to pay for my training. I’m willing to give up a $130k/year job to pursue my dream. I just don’t feel happy where I’m at right now and money is not happiness.

I agree with you. Money is definetely an issue but where there is an issue, there is a way around it. I want to become a commercial pilot as well
I think another barrier (which I'm not complaining about at all) is the academic aspect. I'm terrible at maths. So flying commercially is off limits. I'm sure I'm not the only one.

I'm 10th grader at LICEF school a Cambridge school in Africa. I've got only one more year of school and appreciate watching this, because this is my dream and my passion. And from now on people stop saying I wish to be a pilot and change to I Will be a pilot. In this reply I believe there is no substitute for hard work. I’m just 11 years old and I dream to become a pilot, it’s literally my dream, the first time I went on a plane was when I was 3 years old and I absolutely loved it from then I have been watching tons of videos about planes and the cockpit, I know it’s a hard job and it needs a lot of work, but it’s my dream. But always when I tell my brother or anyone about it and that I want to become a pilot he seems to tell me: Everyone says that, but then changes his mind and you’ll never find a job being a pilot and it’s so hard to become one. They always seem to not motivate me but do the opposite. But I will always follow my dream and so should all of us, if u want to be a pilot u become a pilot, if u want to be a doctor u become a doctor, if u want to be an engineer u become an engineer, if u have a dream for that particular job u work so hard to reach it, no matter what everyone says, u always have to follow ur dreams. Some people do motivate, so these are the people u should listen too
1st - When you believe it, you achieve it. 2nd - gratitude for what you have 3rd - Only talk about your goals with people that deserve or contribute in some way for that. With this kind of thought, all your body will harmonize with it and do things that you are going to be amazed. This is where the fun begins. Cheers.

my dream is started since i was 7 years old and grow up untill now , but my family they are refused to studying in flight school they want to become dentist and i couldn't say no i just feel disappointed but i have a plan after graduation of dentist collage and when am working i will save my money and i will continue my dream i will not give up

Join the air force! You can complete your licenses for free, work there for a while and then convert those licences into commercial plane licenses.

This video is "cute." Cute scenes, cute music. It really doesn't inspire. Why? It doesn't reveal in any great detail the realities of becoming or being a pilot employed as a commercial professional: it doesn't recall or illustrate the steps that the "person" or "persons" in the video took in order to become a PIC of a long-haul, commercial airliner. It doesn't tell a story or share the experiences of how the "pilot" began, made friends, or even struggled, or how dedicated instructors helped to mentor, motivate and, dare I say...INSPIRE...the young aviator to be persistent and develop his skills as a pilot. So many of you "well-wishers" and "nair-do-wells" have no idea what it takes to become, truly, a professional pilot. Suffice it to say, you, as the creator of this video, have never attempted or earned any of your licenses or ratings as a pilot. And, because you haven't, you use your skill as a cinematographer to depict a "reality" that has no basis in reality, let alone "inspires." It is simply entertaining to some degree, but to larger degree, misleading. And, that is hardly, "inspirational."

Sounds like similar rules are being put in place now all over the world.... Here in Australia we have now had a new CASA law which prohibits filming inside aircraft cockpits or something like that which means I can no longer film my flying lessons which is sad :( but what can you do.....

I can't wait to become a pilot, the thought of having power over life and death and being able to crash the plane with no survivors any time I want at the slightest provocation really turns me on. I graduate in a few weeks.
Well if you loved the video and thought that the plane is quite sexy, you better become an ATC because to be a pilot first you should love the cockpit.

I don't normally comment but this is very inspiring. I am 29 this year. I used to have a job which pays well and have a very nice company car. When I was 26, I started to have this interest in flying and started thinking about if it is even possible for someone at my age to be a pilot. At that point, I have never flown a plane. Fast forward to 2020, I am still in the same job and one day, I thought to myself, is this what I really want to do for the rest of my life? even though it provided a stable income and a fancy car, I knew if I look back years later, I would regret that I didn't chase my dream and after 3 years of dreaming about being a pilot, I have decided to quit my job and started flying. I have now completed PPL and my CPL flight test is next month. I guess what I am trying to say is, anything is possible and if you have a dream, don't abandon it just because you think it is difficult. Even me at 29, I am still chasing my dream and if I can, I truly believe anyone can do it!

Since I was young, I’ve always wondered how it’d be if I had my own plane flying around in the sky but it had never came to me that I could chose it as a profession. Then a couple years back, when my brother went to piloting school, I learned about aviation along with him… then it sparked passion in me. It had never left, and it never will. Then today, I realized that I want it to be my career.

Its hard to find a job as a pilot here in Canada. Either you get very low wage paying job as pilot and try to pay all the loan that you took from the bank or you end up going into a completely different carrier. That's the reason why I'm first going for Aircraft Maintainence Engineering, it will be easy to find a job and then for my pilot studies.
