Personally, I really like Ice Nine Kils. Their early work was a little bit too scene for me, but when the Silver Scream came out, I think they really came into their own - commercially and artistically. The whole album has a refined melodic sensibility that really makes it a cut above the rest.

This was AMAZING.... Think my favourite part was the Michael Oldfield - Sentinel inspired piano bit starting at 7:17 of the video and how well that works through the rest of the song. Sentinel was one of my favourite songs EVER as a kid, and was used in the original Exorcist movie, so that was a really cool tribute to throw in there.

Man ink has been one band that still gives me the same effect it had the first time i heard them which was the week the silver scream 1 came out and i listen to them daily and i always said I'd never get a band related tattoo but i got IX on my pointer finger and i don't and won't regret it. I dig everything they do from the riffs, music they put together and lyrics they write and spencers vocals that pull everything together. Truly a rad band and I've never looked forward to new music from a band so much then the iowa slipknot days and im 38 lol. Really hope they continue to crank out the goodies for years to come and its awesome that they're starting to get really noticed and land big tours. 🤘🧟♂️🗡
