If you're changing the filter anyway, take a small chisel and knock a hole in the bottom of the filter housing and drain it first. ;)

good point. that waterfall of oil is pretty damn annoying. I'm punching a hole in the filter next time

Nice truck. How many miles do you go in between oil changes?

Thank you! 10,000 miles between oil changes. Recently sold our '18 F350 dually with 434K and it was on the same interval.

Just found your channel. Any plans for mods, such as ccv rerouting or upper/lower fuel filters updates? Got it using Rotella T4, just noted WallyW has T6 in 10w30, my 17 F350 is a DD, so planning to try this at next 5k oil service approaching soon.

If you have a Sam’s Club membership, that’s where I buy the Rotella T4. If not, I’d bet that T6 is a great option. This pickup has the non-serviceable CCV and doesn’t have issues but I may still do the reroute or delete. As for the fuel filters, I need to do some research and see the benefits. If I end up doing those, they’ll absolutely me made into a how-to video.
I don’t have any power mod plans. We did the Ready Lift kit and ranch hand prior to making the channel and its stock other than a drop in filter.
