Till’s vocal performance is very haunting on this one. Cant get more real than this

Actually the only Rammstein song i can think of where the studio version is more intense than the live version, especially when Til first starts screaming in combination with the drums. That really hit me first time i heard it.
But I like the longer intro part in the live version. To bad the sound quality isn't better.

Obviously live version was calmer, and with some playback. Singing refrain with full intensity could be destructive for vocal chords.
I think this could be better with professional sound, we're listening to a glorified phone-mic.

It comes right after Wiener Blut, two deep dark songs. People who are not speaking German should always read the translation before listening.

When that "puppe" startad spewing out the "insects" and then it came from all the speaker towers. It really looked like a swarm of bugs all across the night sky. Best moment of the show. Didn't really capture that feeling in this clip.
No concert videos I've seen this far have been able to capture the impressiveness of that special effect. That confetti also stayed in the air for super long, which intensified the gloominess of the ending and the outro.
Actually this is the most terrifying performance of Rammstein ever. After the black and white confetti blew out and spread all over the stadium. The sight was just like a scene from a horror movie, just like the Video form "The Ring". I got goosebumps over my whole body.
The soothing melody represents the innocence of the child. The angry vocals represents the horror that the child is feeling.

Might be an unpopular opinion, but I actually think the studio version is better with this song. It gets that feeling of despair across much more imo
I agree, Tills vocals are so much more raw in the studio version. It doesn't come across as well in the live version.
I agree 100% - it would be physically impossible to bring that studio performance on tour over and over again. He would break his vocal chords - so very much: fair enough

I recommend the Album version of this song. You can hear the despair in Tills voice a little bit better. I swear after I heard this song for the first time I wanted to hug Till.
One of their best songs and probably the darkest.

The art of Till Lindemann is beautiful. He has created Tango music, rap music and just released his new ballad 'Alle Tage ist kein Sonntag' with voilist David Garrett. He also has writen poetry books ('On Quiet Nights' is translated to English).
One year ago he shocked the world with the music video's Knebel and Platz eins. It can not be found on the normal websites. You need to google it and find the uncensored version.
Rammstein has a big tour in 2021 (if corona allows). It is a Europe and North America stadium tour.
He is so diverse! I love the video for Ach So Gern (on so glad) as Lindemann. It makes me smile even though it is about a murderer!!
I don't know if that says more about Till or me?
I have tickets for Cardiff in June, Covid allowing, and I am so excited even now.

Rammstein concerts are a real experience for the audience. Here they are only pelted with bits of black paper. Sometimes it's foam from a cannon or alcohol from a "hose". This is Rammstein. But if you go to a Till Lindemann concert, you will be pelted with dead fish. 😁

Ich hab keine Ahnung was alles zensiert wird und bei welchen Ländern es unterschiede gibt, wenn es überhaupt welche gibt. Hab mal nen ellenlangen text verfasst auf englisch und ohne Schimpfwörter oder beleidigungen. Hab ihn gesendet und er war drin...für 2 min. Dann war alles weg und ich wusste nicht wieso. Hab dann jedes Substantiv ausprobiert aus diesem Text. Hat mich ne Stunde gekostet. Am Ende hab ich rausgefunden, dass das englische Wort für Affe zensiert wurde. Jetzt darf man nicht mal ein Tier nennen und es wird geblockt. Man könnte es ja rassistisch verwenden, was in meinem fall aber gar nicht der fall war. War nur ein musikwunsch. Wollte nur Leo Marachioles Dance M****y hören. Unglaublich. Jetzt darf man nicht einmal einen Klassiker der Kunst in den kommentaren nennen.
YES! This is one of the best songs on the new album. It hit me so hard the first time I listened to it. Till's vocals are so visceral and emotive. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

During the stroller going up in Flames Till looks inside the stroller through that camera thing ,the baby puppet opens his mouth and on the big screen you see (through his camera eye) something black swarming out of the babies mouth . that when those black confetti things were blown out . Really Cool.

That Rammstein- Sound: it just doesn't get old. I know plenty of bands (in the industrial metal genre) that tried to achieve it, none that got even close.

Watching the live performance doesn't give the same explosive feeling as listening to the studio record. However, experiencing the song live is a whole different story. Heard it like four times now (twice Rammstein and twice Völkerball) and each time I went to a different place when that song started. An absolute banger, albeit a dark one.

Something this video doesn't really show that the feed from the eye-camera to the big screen has a computer-effect on it, when Till starts screaming so does the puppet, crying and screaming with the most demonic face.

If you really love Till as i do, you must react to LINDEMANN. It is his own band with the legend Peter Tägtgren. He sings in german but there is also a complete album in english. The concerts are also great but the officials are better. (Till was only 2 meter in front of me and threw a cake straight into my face)

Your reactions are always so great! Ifyou're looking for suggestions, my very favorite R+ song is Morgenstern from Völkerball (ruclips.net/video/Pjbzaq_BZAQ/видео.html). The lyrics are based off one of Till's poems called Häßlich which is about his feeding ugly. The song stakes the despair and turns it into this wonderful moment of self confidence and inner beauty. My first tattoo will be the last lines of this song.
And it's so awesome to see the band giving off each other and realizing they have the crowd. A great, oft overlooked performance!
