I kind of think this movie didn't show the real horror you might face when you have an out-of-wedlock baby in a small town. Society will chew you out. So, I will say Mimi tried to make it a feel-good family movie where the reality of her would be nothing less than a horror film. That's why hated that couple a lot. They literally destroyed her life

My favourite scene from the movie is her friend Shama's monologue. Such a beautiful heartfelt scene that taught me that life really can never be planned but you gotta keep moving forward and be grateful for the life that you've been given because no matter what, life will always be beautiful. I'm eternally grateful for this life! 🤍

I was already almost 6 months in by this point. My father even asked if my obgyn could terminate at this point.. Anad said, there was no point in knowing now.. Today, my baby boy is 11, strong, healthy and so damn intelligent. A sweetheart, with no problems. My only ray of light to keep living. 💜💜💜
