this is great marketing for your app to hire a guy to teach everyone how to draw. immediately installed the app after the video ended. my favorite feature is the infinite canvas. thanks!
We need more of those videos! It’s really good for beginners. These videos convinced me, that it’s worth to keep on learning and buying the pro version 👍🏼
Impressive. It's part 3 and ONLY from comments i get that it's kinda advertisement for an App. Tutorials are simple to understand. Quick but not fast enough to blow my brain. Relaxing voice. Relaxing music. Non-annoying human hand. I started trying again after long time to improve my drawing and with new understandings I just see new world. I understand now simple magic. My brain can focus again and i feel less stressed while I'm drawing. Just thanks.
I would love a tutorial on how to do text along curves in Concepts (ie, for round logo designs), where the text has outline, drop shadow, or glow effects. Thanks!
Correct in the explanation of the core concepts of perspective drawing. The only thing missing is how to gauge measured proportions in perspective - like how long/wide the window was supposed to be drawn. I think I’ll try out the app. I may use Concepts to explain drawing in perspective to students.
Thank you so much. You are the first person who managed to make things understandable. I really gave up because I thought that I'm too old for this and I'm just not able to get my brain understand it. How wrong I was. Can't wait for your next videos.
I love these videos. But I still dont get it, how do i rotate a box in perspective whilst maintaining the initial perspective? Like in a room not everything points to the same direction, if I rotate it how do you know for sure how it is gonna look
We recommend using the apple pencil on ios for the best experience. I think adonit dash 4 supports both but apparently it doesn't have pressure responce.
It's always fun when they teach perspective only on rectangular objects. And if I want to draw some object of a complex shape, or no corners at all? And how can I keep proportions even when rotating figures with corners?
You're right, rotating objects or drawing more complex forms isn't quite as straight forward. Examples in this video are kept simple for the sake of clarity. Construction lines are touched on on our lines turorial: ruclips.net/video/m2xT6fWBdzE/видео.html More advanced methods of drawing in perspective probably deserve their own video.
How we can do a diametric or trimetric isometric views. The grid can be edited or rotated with dimension in both sides at the same time? Also we need a fill tool a ruler tool and better tools for shape figures nos just arcs and circles. I hope listens for better upgrades with this app.
Thanks so much! It's a amazing draw class, and a appreciate so much. You are helping me a lot in process of learning how to draw. I was lost at the process, and you brought me light and direction. Thank you again!

@@ConceptsApp great. I’m new to all of this digital art. I’m a tattoo artist since mid 90’s and I’m looking to start to draw on this fantastic new iPad Pro I just bought. Especially with apps like concepts . Looking forward to learning more from your videos. Stay well kind sir✌🏻
Thanks for your great tutorials! I would like to import a picture of a building and then trace over it in another layer. Is there a way to set up a perspective grid in another layer over the image as a perspective guide?

Thanks Jordan! If you're on iPad, with the latest update you can make experimenting with perspective quicker with our new perspective grid tools. Windows and Android versions are getting this functionality later this year.
Hi Erik. All the features used - except for the color palette - are available on surface as well. Is there something specific you'd like to see demonstrated on a surface device?
We do have perspective grids! You can find them by opening the Grids menu. You can find a tutorial about it here: concepts.app/en/tutorials/how-set-perspective-grid-concepts/
For the time being this only exists on the iOS version on the iPad. Tap the "precision menu" and and then "guides". Alternatively you can use the objects found in the "import" menu.
Perspective is actually my best part of my artistic skills.. Proportions is my worst So Rooms and stuff looks great but humans i draw looks like shit due to wrong proportions
The other thing that makes drawing people challenging is the fact that we're used to seeing them all the time, so it's easy for us to spot even the smallest mistakes. Drawing say animals might be more gratifying to start with. Good luck!

This isn’t anything new here.. I do “get” what yall are trying to do in terms of teaching people how to use these tools instead of relying solely on them first, with that being said, perspective drawing is much more than just having straight lines. I have been patiently waiting and following up now for 3 years about this app getting the interactive Perspective grids (not the current pictures of them you have to purchase) that do nothing. As a design, technical, and constructive app - this should have deployed when the app first came out. There are just simple features that an app should have in their base complex and then over time build upon to improve. As small as a feature this may be to some, it can be a huge deterrent to those of us that use this technique in our daily workflow. Oh .... and PLEASE give us a real eraser !!

I understand your priorities but I also miss the interactive perspective tool and I also think it’s a must have feature for this kind of app. I hope you’re able to deliver it soon. Aric Cressey I also agree that the tool that looks like an eraser doesn’t work like an eraser. The name was changed to Mask tool that is more correct to what it does. To use what may work like an eraser you can use the Splice tool. It’s like a cutter and it really removes the portions of the object.
