Bro! I loved this back on the 3ds (yeah yeah rad enjoyed a turn based game) so im super happy to see it come to other systems and get more love! Great review!
Definitely worth giving it a shot, and if you like it consider the alliance alive. It was released on consoles several years ago and it was a lot of fun if not difficult
I remember playing demo on 3DS years ago. I very enjoined the combat system. Since then, the game was always on my "to buy when I will have extra money to spend" list. Sadly, I never had that extra money until I forgot about this game. So, it looks like now it's time to finally buy it.
I love how beautiful the art style of the game is, the backgrounds in the battles in particular make it look like a painting! I missed out on this originally but I’m glad your review helps shine some light on it for me.
With great difficulty. I feel I just launch myself from one game to another with no slowdown honestly. Or completely skip certain games. For example I haven’t even started persona 3 reload yet
I've got too many games to play as it stands. This game looks cute, if not deceptively difficult, but I will probably pass on it if I'm going to be honest. But nice review, just the same!
I was quite disappointed and frustrated by the original release on the 3ds. It felt it had a lot going for it but was quite repetitive and felt pretty cheap. I kind of want to give it a second chance but this port doesn't seem to improve on the original much and losing the second screen of the 3DS makes the UI look quite jarring unfortunately. It's a tough sell I feel.
That pop-in feature is really unexpected. So interesting how something like that can make a game feel refreshing..
I really like it, it’s so unique

Rad and turn based? What is this strange universe?
Nice review, Shinky! I'll be picking this one up since I didn't play my 3DS copy back in the day, lol.
I hope you enjoy it like I did. Which I was personally surprised about because well…it’s FuRyu. It was nice to not be burned by them again
@@Shinky Hahaha, I think I'll enjoy it!
I sadly missed out on this during the 3DS life cycle. I might have to pick this one out. Great review!

Great review! Glad to see NISA hitting you up! Given this year is already stacked with JRPGs
This is something I can see picking up during a sale
Definitely worth playing at some point! I’m glad you enjoyed the review

Oh absolutely! I hope you enjoy it! Thanks for stopping by!
Really like the charm of the game it’s like a giant pop up book really cute 🥰 I ordered the collectors edition cause I really wanted the soundtrack!
Oh excellent, yeah it is like a pop up book. I just wish it had a more prevalent story. It’s still a fun game though, I hope you enjoy it =)
I’ve gone back and forth on getting this game!
might have to after I chip away more of my giant backlog
I hope you enjoy it! It’s really a unique experience
omg this game sounds so convoluted lol. it looks nice but holy heckies the combat mechanics. I have alliance alive and now im afraid lol.
The alliance alive is really just a much more refined version of this game. Legend of Legacy isn’t BAD per se it just needs the kinks ironed out
@@Shinky you always have to mention kinks with me dont you? =P
I myself am more into gameplay than story in anyway possible. This game might be up my alley. Great review!
I’m happy to know you enjoyed it. I hope you enjoy the game just as much =)

Yeah the game is so aesthetically pleasing!
Man, this looks so much better
Not wrong, it’s absolutely gorgeous. Thanks for watching =)
I never played this series!! It looks fun. Great review!!
Check out the alliance alive if you enjoy this. Alliance alive is so much better in every way
How does one keep up with all these banger JRPG releases this year?
With great difficulty. I feel I just launch myself from one game to another with no slowdown honestly. Or completely skip certain games. For example I haven’t even started persona 3 reload yet
@@Shinky Fair... that's probably the thing to do - selective consistency!

Totally understandable. Being overwhelmed with games is just normal for me these days lol

Fair enough, it’s not spectacular by any means but for what it’s worth I enjoyed it even if it was a constant grind
