      @@xTheHeadLyonx Actually Super Singles are not as safe as duals if you're going to have a blow out. Fuel transport companies (and others) use them because of the considerable weight savings.

    • @A_jackson

      No one who works with tires exactly knows the weight but apparently a 445/50/22.5 super single weights 160 to 180 according to diffrent sources. Which I am assuming is without the rim weight.

  • @Roxy-1576

    It could be argued that this is the “easier way” too, cause this way ur not flipping the tire and rim whatsoever, just the stupid heavy tire lol if my company let me practice this it’d be way easier on my back and faster after got enough practice

  • @sanora80261
    @sanora80261 4 года назад

    That would have taken three white boys and one would have needed a college degree in a shop, two billed hours. However workers shouldn’t have to work like that and eventually there will be unnecessary injuries. I know as a younger man I would get r done that way..U DA Man.

    for some reason duel axle trailers rubs me the wrong way maybe i am use to Australian trucks witch mostly run triple axles on the trailers.

    • @ta-zm7tg
      @ta-zm7tg 5 лет назад +1

      Depends where you are there a few reason out here at least. The trailer plate is per axle and the toll roads are per axle last people find they take sharper turns on dry pavement better at least that's what people who have had triple and dual axle say to me the turning part.

    • @phalanx3803
      @phalanx3803 5 лет назад

      @@ta-zm7tg I think it's more down to here in Australia we run Multi Combination most trucks are b doubles that's two trailers connected straight to each other no dollys in between and b-triples are starting to become more commonplace now that's 3 trailers no dollys

    • @ta-zm7tg
      @ta-zm7tg 5 лет назад

      @@phalanx3803 See here you are not allowed 3 trailers at all 2 trailers is rare but legal but only allowed at specific times of the year and times of the day. Trailer plates are expensive and you pay per axle not huge cost but noticeable and the toll roads toll bridges that cut huge amounts of time out add up quick save cost where you can i guess. Every location is different i'm sure triple axle works great for you cheers mate.

      @@ta-zm7tg yeah I seen a video by a tow truck driver called Ron Pratt and he had to tow a wrecked Multi Combination truck and the trailers were tiny compared to what we use. got me confused why the USA doesn't allow for full size Multi Combination trucks like what we have it's much more efficient especially when going over long distances but then again yous have a vast train network Australias train network looks like a rollercoaster compared to what the US has.
