Hi Justin lovely video, thank you for taking us with you and being our guide. Totally your kind of garden even the urns. Have a lovely visit next week, hope the weather is kind, lots of inspiration for us all. Take care.
Hi Justin, what a truly captivating garden - all those colours!! You're right, it is glorious... And what a beautiful way to spend your birthday next week! I hope you're able to do so, and have a wonderful birthday ☺️
It's such a lovely place, not many people know where it is because there isn't that much around here. I really hope it is a nice day next week although it looks like the weather is breaking now. I am going to borrow so many ideas from that garden!!
@@justinthegardener It's definitely a hidden gem! With so many ideas just waiting to be borrowed! 😆 I'll send all my good thoughts for a sunny day for you - may I ask when the special day is? 😊
That was exquisite. And just the right amount of commentary. Thank you. Everything was perfect except for the fire engine red doors. I think making them burgundy or slate blue to complement the mellow old brick would be better. But maybe that color is traditional in English gardens? I don't know.
Hi Nicole, sorry I didn't reply sooner. A lot of the big country estates have a certain colour attached to them, Sledmere seems to be all red, while one nearer home has mainly white with a black painted stripe around all their gateposts, it's very interesting. Personally I agree with you, the red is a bit harsh ;-)
@@justinthegardener I have got to the age where I will happily admit to it! Very small circle of friends, small family - things are a lot less stressful now!!
Such lovely gardens. I really like the ropes and use of the copper beech and yew. Lovely contrast.
Thanks for sharing.

Lovely garden, and so quiet (where is everyone?!). Thanks for sharing it with us.
They had all gone home, it was still open but very quiet, just how I like it :-)
@@justinthegardener Me too - can't bear lots of people ( or actually even a few people 😬)!
I daren't admit to being anti-social, I just prefer to choose my company and it's usually gardening types!! @@suzannebramble6564
