Andrew is my brother and I just love how gracious and generous he is when he’s talking to others about plants. He’s also has the perfect personality for garden tours…not just in his own garden but any garden. Before I had any interest in gardening or the outdoors at all, I memorized the names of three plants in my mom’s garden:Hakonechloa macra ‘Aureola’, Metasequoia glyptostroboides, Ophiopogon planiscapus ‘Nigra’, so I could play a joke on my brother, by astounding him with my plant identification, when he came to visit my mom. As we looked at my mom’s garden, I identified those three plants. Andrew, because he is, as I said gracious and generous, went on as it was the most normal thing ever that I knew these plants now. He just believes in any garden or gardener no matter how humble, and meets them where they are, with the same enthusiasm he has for the most experienced gardeners and the most significant gardens in the world. I’m am super impressed with Summer’s knowledge of plants, because Andrew has some unusual things in his garden. This is such a lovely video and the garden looks amazing. I agree with a previous comment that you should do more of these! ❤️ Sorry this is so long!

Andrew Bunting has created a painting-like oasis. I saw a Monet, along the way. It lends to thoughts like.. the World is a beautiful place. Mother Earth and Mother Nature are mighty, with ferocious, merciless force. They should be the only 'World Leaders' with whom we need to have diplomatic relations. Mr. Bunting is apparently, a skilled diplomat.

Thank goodness, a channel that uses the correct botanical name for plants, rather than just the common U.S. name. I'm in the U.K. and find we often use different common names so sticking to the international botanical plant language of Latin makes much more sense.

This have to be one of my favorite gardens tour of this year. This garden have so much character and stories to tell. Love you to do a home garden more often vs botanical gardens. Something about a house garden is that you can really see the person who created the garden and the love that they put into the garden. Thank you for sharing this and can’t wait to keep seeing what you are doing for your own space. Happy early thanksgiving everyone!! ❤️

What a garden. 1/3 looks like just the right amount, me, myself and I are on 2 acres, at 65 that's at least 1 acre too many 😊
I'm on the shore in Maryland..7b..I have black and blue, it grows to a small bush, the stems are black, it loves the sun as well. How could anyone say no thanks to an offer of doing all the work, while you get to enjoy the benefits, how nice is that. Would be great if Mr Bunting shares photos with you, of the new redo of the secret garden.

Beautiful! It looks so.much larger then 1/3 acre! Good to pull down that virginia creeper. My neighbor had it growing on the fence that separates our properties, and it literally spread and took my over my whole garden (over 1/2 acre) soooo invasive. It strangled my beautiful privets to death too :(

How surprising to hear you are naming Gothenburg botanical Garden or "Göteborgs Botaniska" as we call it in Swedish... It is a favorite garden of mine and I only live 45 min drive, on the Highroad, south from Gothenburg so I am visiting several times a year! Its a wonderful Garden with many different habitats!!!!
