If you need a checklist of things to do BEFORE you start stitching a Kreative Kiwi in the hoop design, this video is for you! 10 things you need to do before you start stitching!
Nope. Starch doesn't do a whole lot for embroidery - but I do use it if I can't get it to look nice. On some fabrics I will use a fusable backing if it is very thin or needs it . I have found gudyStic by Gunold which helps keep the applique pieces in place without using heat.
In Step #4, did you mean to say, "Hoop your stabilizer" instead of hoop your backing? To me, I refer to my backing as the back fabric I'll be using for the back of my project. Just wondering.

they are from brother - i got them with the tool kit with my Dream Machine 2, and then I purchased a few more from the brother store.
Do you starch your fabric when you press it or put any type of fusable backing on?
