I’m definitely considering getting one of these also. The stock shifter is sloppy, specially compared to my other mustang that has a really good shifter/trans in it. Definitely heard the install sucks though
I can only recommend the MGW shifters! I was kind of on the fence for way too long. I can't imagine going back to stock now. The install was quite a bit of work, but between me (not knowing what I am doing), my buddy (knows somewhat what he is doing) and RUclips we eventually worked it out! It really just takes the right tools, a lift and enough time.
What shift knob is that? I’m taking delivery of my 2020 Shelby gt350 in a couple days and would like to get that same shift knob and short shifter for it.
I installed the same mgw part on my 2022 mach 1, and with each change I feel like a small noise that is felt in the hand and heard, do you feel the same when making the changes?
My R started the whirling noise at high rpm in 1st so I got one of the first gen 2 MGW’s and it really is a big difference. That damn rubber boot was a bitch to install though lol
Yes a lot of people get that issue! The MGW is 100% worth it. The install is not super easy tbh and yes, that boot does not want to go on right😂 especially since you have to lube it...
Have you seen them side by side? The build quality of the mgw is definitely superior. This shifter is made for the gt350/Mach 1 that use this transmission
@@svtpower03 I have not seen them side by side but I do know Fords short throw is just a replacement shifter arm that is shorter than stock. MGW is the entire system. I'm basically wondering if its worth it for me to one way or the other.
Ordered the MGW Gen 2 shifter for my Mach 1. Can't wait to have it installed... 😎
I bet you will love it! I couldn't go back!

I can't say that I have noticed this issue! I would reach out to MGW to find the potential root cause!

sick mod!🤘🏽
Thanks!🔥
Why wouldn't you just buy the Ford Performance short throw shifter? Its even $200 cheaper. Its even made for the GT350
never looked into them. I've only heard great things about the MGW and got it for a decent price used which is why I went with it.

@@DumbCarGuyI’d go mgw honestly. I already know it’s worth the money and I don’t have one yet ha.
