    So that's what you hard'uns get up to when the rest of us are tucked up Hugh! I know what the sound of all that running water on a cold day would do to me. Lovely shots none-the-less - those robins will do anything for mealworm. Great to see a nuthatch too. Chris

    @collieultimo The man at the end shows the eccentricity of us Brits Rainer, LoL.
    Yes a beautiful place & on my doorstep.
    You mentioned Preston, so you will know of Beacon Country Park & Parlick Fell.
    I have climbed Parlick many times, to fly the hang-glider. The views to the west and the Fylde coast are stunning.

    A nice pice of nature, easy to reach, but I've never been there. During the time when I lived in Preston (1972-3) we often went to the valley of the river Rocky Brook, which is just a few miles north east.

    Fantastic vids. Lead Mines Clough is my favourite place of all. Have never hand fed round Chorley, only done it at Bosherton Ponds in S Wales.
