I love the Iron compressor. It’s a modern take on a timeless tube technology that brings life to digital media in a way unlike any other hardware unit. Definitely, looking forward to having one of these units in the studio one day.
I got it a few weeks ago and it's the real deal game changer. When I turn in on it makes my all digital "static" sounds edm track sound like Jimi Hendrix and Quincy Jones came to visit me with a vagon of Marshalls, SSL mixing boards and Neve stuff and said: "Now, that's music my son, just don't overdo it." 😄😄
I started using SPL in the 90's with a electronic act I started my journey with... We had a mk2t & Charisma 8ch back then... Now I work with another guy, & we still swear by our spl goldies range. We have Tube Vitaliser, Qure, Gold Mike & a Charisma 2ch.😊
I have the tube Vitalizer in my mastering room. I absolutely love this thing, much misunderstood bit of kit. Used right and it just lifts a mix and opens up the top and mid hi. Magic.
We have one too, when we spend time getting the drive amount & sound right initially... It makes the other processing & controls much easier to dial in right too. Same applies to the mk2t or the plug for it too.
The higher internal audio voltage of +/-18 V elevates this third generation SPL classic to greater sonic results and impresses with an even better and more detailed sound experience 👍 🎶
@@SPLSoundPerformanceLab cool! does this mean the mk3 will accept higher input level without clipping (compared to mk2). I own Mk2 and love it but I have to decrease level quite a bit before hitting the unit or it will be always clipping. Great Unit though, absolutely in love with it and I'm wondering if Mk3 actually solves that little "issue". Thanks

I miss my Vitalizer...
Great story.
Thanks 👍
When is it really available? I need it already.
Demand is currently higher than production allows. However, we are producing without interruption and devices will certainly be available again soon 👍
Still have a 1st gen Vitalizer Jack, unbalanced, developed some quirks after more than 25 years, often on the road, but still usable and love it.
😎
Would you trade my MKII for your MKIII? 😂
😉
