u have all the three comps i'm trying to decide between, the rnc 1773, warm audio bus comp and VLA II. They all sound good to me, it's gonna be my first outboard comp for all kinds of shit like synths, drums mix & master. Interested to hear what u would go for if u had to choose only one of these three? I like that the warm audio bus comp has the HPF might be super useful mastering electronic music with lots of low end, but the rnc 1773 is super nice on the price! the VLA sounds niceee and seems also like a great all rounder... what u think?? subd, great vids on gear!! great music too, super talent u got!
Aww, thank you. Without a doubt the Warm Bus, especially if it’s for mastering. The RNC is really nice and the VLA, but the Warm Bus is more versatile.
@@RenneMeejah thanks so much for the tip and ur take on it, this helps me decide! i like the transistor switch on it too, so u can just run stuff thru it to get some vibes, i liked how it sounded in the vid where u used the warm bus, just switching the transistor on was a vibe already.
Have you used the vitalizer plug in? Is it comparable? Obviously the hardware is the real deal. Just curious if you've been able to use both and you notice a major difference.
Too be honest it took a while for me as well but its really easy once you understand the basics .All it is making sure the level doesn't go over and under consistent, and comp can give you sort of special effect as well ! more punchy sound, and making the music sound loud and upfront in the final mix ,trust me I'm still learning LOL !
I just love analog and digital mixing.
Good vid
Im having both mines modded.. vla ii is a steal
Way to Go Renne, you have an art for this Analog hardware, Mmm🤓
Thanks!

@@ryanmaxwelll2730 I have. Will be posting a video about that soon!
I gave up trying to understand compression, so I just record to tape and mix down on a DAW with a spectral enhancer 😮
That’s a great method.
