    Mr. Yohn must have been incarcerated without access to a TV when Mr. Brooks represented himself and landed himself multiple life sentences. Calling a judge a pos will not serve him well throughout the proceedings. LOL

      I would love to see this no nonsense judge handle Darell Brooks. I’m sure he wouldn’t go back and forth with him for a long period of time like Dorrow did. It was painful to watch all the interruptions. I wonder how many times she had to dismiss the jury while he was applying all his stall tactic!

    The one thing you often find with these serious offenders is that after possibly living their lives as a bully that uses intimidation to get what they want all the time they can't handle being treated equally and objectively.

      His motions were filed in October. Its nearly December and the opposing side hasn’t even handed over the discovery material. Its a pretty basic motion and this delay is unusually unnecessary and clearly the prosecution is being favored. You sir/mam are turning a blind eye.

      Criminal Justice system. Back in 2008 I got arrested in Sacramento for a drunk in public. Spent the night in jail, downtown Sacramento. When I got out that morning. All my money was missing from my wallet. I asked about it and they could care less. They take advantage.

    As much as I enjoyed the Darrel Brooks trial, I do worry its popularity will now lead to more cases of clearly attention-seeking defendants representing themselves simply to harass judges and prosecutors because they think it will get them some additional notoriety.

      There won’t be as many interruptions. The judge doesn’t have to tip toe around this defendant. You could even make the case that Brooks has or had elevated protections and privileges that this guy doesn’t.

      @@abebuckingham8198 It is actually more difficult for the prosecutors when they have a pro se defendant! MUCH more difficult and it's not due to the defendant lack of knowledge. Pro Se defendants get more leeway and sympathy from the jurors.

      Not defending the guy but it seems like the clerk is purposely ignoring his motions. He filed them before November 28th and that happens to a lot of prisoners while they’re incarcerated. Again, not defending him. His motions aren’t being filed in a timely manner by the court and he’s clearly upset.
