It's also in defence of theit grieving friends and family having to see their loved ones being taken away from them in such a brutal manner as well as thousands of soldiers we sent to fight in the Middle East after 9/11 and the suffering they go through, I personally went to high school with a guy who came back with an arm missing and has to live with an artificial one for the rest of his life. It's annoying when we see privileged people like you on a screen taking these privileges for granted and making a bunch of hurtful insensitive comments about a tragic day that changed the world and furthered a religious warfare

I think he started by saying it was impossible to think of a joke to start it off, so "here's a baby lifting some weights" or something like that right after the "let's begin" where the video cuts off. We also went to Sally Jesse. That was....well....less worthy of comment.

It was very much the turning point for both New York and the rest of the work and many people I have met here who were here during this time comment that everything changed in NYC after 9/11. It sounds like you were visiting the city around this time so really curious if you arrived just days after the attacks happened and what that must have been like.
As a sports fan I remember finding normalcy post-9/11 in baseball. Great season capped off by an incredible World Series between the Yankees and Diamondbacks. President Bush throwing out the first pitch at Yankee Stadium was just pure goosebumps, and IMHO really the moment when America "got back to normal."
