    The motherships did surprisingly well and the immortal one was a nail biter! I had bets on the immortals after watching the Ling immortal battle but dam that was close!

      More like a better surround. If the wave came in wider it woulda been even worse for the immortals. So many zeolots didn't do jack for aaaages.

    Nice. Let’s mix it up. Multiple unit combinations. I’d love to see that!! For example 20 zealots/10 voidrays vs 30 marines/5 bcs. Idk. Just a thought. Keep up the great work!

    An eskalation would be great. Like 10.000 minerals two factions against each other and every 20 sec. The next wave of another unit spawns in and joins the fight.
    Like first marines for 10k minerals than 20 sec. Later marauder, then reapers and so one.

    As always, terrans show their incredible efficency when it comes to brutally murdering stuff... enven tho you won't see 20 motherships everyday...

      nah, thor is the easiest unit to kill, and 20 motherships is a joke, I think 1 mothership and 19 carriers would be stronger. Here 20 motherships made 4 slowing bubbles while normally 1 mothership can make 2, so here it was like 18 motherships didnt use their skills. And thor has no skill it can only fight, still you can see only few of them survive with red hp! Usually when i play skytoss and my opponent playing mass thors I become happy because I know it is wrong choice and I already won

      @@Skorpion1991 In terms of efficiency, I was more thinking of the siege tank, for thros it depends... Thros are strong against individual target, and of course, the mothership is not really a combat unit, it is a spell caster... but in terms of AA Thors can be pretty good with their massive damages and long range, but the unit isn't cheap and you have to play very well to use it properly. I have no doubt about a good skytoss player to slowly take them appart with carriers and not going straight to oblivion attempting a simple A-move that could win, but at an heavy price...
      That's is all my point, if you have a rebuttal, I would gladly continue the debate to progress in my understanding of starcraft. All we have to remember is the we're playing an RTS, so every strategy have the merit tho be examined thoroughly to be declared viable or not.

      @@tetegaming7402 yes with just skytoss i would destroy that thors barely and slowly, but if I add few disruptors i kick them out of the universe in the blink of an eye and with minimal loses. When i play against terran I always have some disruptors not many to keep fleet strong, but few of them is huge help against every ground units especially thors who are too slow to run from the balls and get every supernovas on the face

      @@Skorpion1991 So you're a disruptor fan ? Good, that is a unit that can be very powerful, but complex to use, so respect man ! I'm more of a terran player so I take note to pay attention to that deadly combo...

    It would be cool to see how a matchup changes with upgrades. Like start two units at 0/0 and then keep rematching them with upgrades.

    It would be great, as one RUclips user commented, to have a multiple unit combinations, PLUS mix in the campaign units and coop units too! That would be really neat!
    To be honest, I don't really care who wins or who counters what, I just love seeing carnage lol

    Those motherships did surprisingly well, considering how their attacks are split into 6 separate attacks and their rate of fire is so slow. You should host a 1v1 tournament with all sc 2 units :D Of course with full upgrades and maybe compare between using or not using abilities (except maybe Yamato because Yamato guarantees a win in any 1v1 fight).

    Motherships might have won with 100% uptime on the attack speed slow. They had probably less than 50%, and the fight was close. Easily could have been stacking fields to maintain perfect uptime with the amount of energy available.
    Liberators would have won if the Mutas were more clumped.
    Zealots would have crushed it if they got a surround faster (same thing with ling vs immortals in previous videos).
    Marauders vs Tanks could have been a lot more one-sided if the tanks sieged up at max range instead of at ~7 range or could have flipped the other direction if the tanks didn't siege or started sieging after the marauders began shooting.

    Whenever I see a fight end and it looks lopsided, then I see like 3/4 of the living units had a couple hits left on them max. It makes you wonder how it would have gone with intelligent targeting.

    I will never understand why this guy doesn't want to face off the units in more realistic scenarios...
    For example, rather than waiting for the siege tanks to siege until it is too late, have them already sieged before the fight starts.
    Rather than having melee/short-range units walk in line-by-line to get slaughtered by range, have them attack from at least 2 sides...
    REALISM !!!

      How is it realistic? most of these battles are impossible in regular 1v1. Also it will never be realistic unless you watch GM players actually micro these units. I dont think the purpose of the channel is to test who wins but more so for us viewers to "wager" which we think will win considering the given scenario

      Because these videos are made by running the scenarios on Direct Strike, pre-positioning units would take a modicum of work before recording.

    I feel like the Marauders would have done a much better job if they had closed the gap. If they ran forward and forced the front tanks to unsiege and take some friendly fire it could’ve turned the tide.

      @@tomhe286 liberator cost is 3 supply+150+150 yes? muta is 2 supply+100+100 yes? 25 liberators is 75 supply, 3750 minerals and 3750 gas = 7500 total resources. And 85 mutas is 170 supply, 8500 minerals and 8500 gas = 17 000 total resources!!!! Wait.. how... where is that pretty similar?????!!!!! what????!!!! its more than double cost !!!!!!!!!!!!!!But surely liberators are super counter to mutas even with such huge disadvantage in numbers they still was close to win, killed most of mutas

      It's more of.. bonus damages, light, armored, massive types of units etc and how the mechanics work against each other.... rather than straight up a unit is better.
      If you've ever played elite dangerous, you'll see PVP where a fricking sidewinder(first and smallest ship) beats a federal corvette (monster battleship) due to equipment loadout and skill. There never is a "best of best" ;)

      Look at the resources spent for the libs-mutas. Libs are a hard counter, but if you give the mutas enough resources spent they'll eventually beat anything.

      @@wicem4 I expected the libs to win but when they didn't i looked more closely at the minerals/gas... 8500/8500 in mutas beat 3750/3750 in libs?
      I'm starting noticing a trend where the videos don't really try to show either a "surprising" outcome (lower resources beats higher resources) or "yep this is what you'd expect" (equal resources and the unit that counters the other wins).
      What it does show is that it doesn't take very many libs to dunk on mutas. Though this is all with no micro too so that changes things up a little. Lets see 4500 mutas vs 3750 libs. (Libs probably win that one).

    Thors dominate over most air units. Even Batlecruisers, who used to beat Thors, now lost.

      bc are beating thors, void rays are even pure counter to them, carriers/brood lords also arent bad. Another thing is that thor is super slow and immobile because can't fly, it is also very easy to counter. I mean if you counter BC/Carriers or Brood lords+coruptors you will have to struggle anyway because it will be always hard and risky, and thors are one of the easiest units to counter, especially disruptors

      Not really. If the Battlecruisers use Yamato after teleporting on top of them, it's an easy win for the BCs. The only reason why Thors beat BCs in an A-move fight is because of the immense difference in range (11 range Thor vs 6 range BCs).

      @@jimmyha1898 "If the Battlecruisers use Yamato after teleporting on top of them, it's an easy win for the BCs" In that case you will lose even more and easier than I though before, you can fire yamato from far away so why you teleport on tempest if you can do it from distance? that make no sense dude.... you should first shoot yamato and than jump on tempest to be able to shoot them from regular attack. Because what you say is that you use both skills and remember that you need 2 bc to kill 1 tempest with yamato, so you will always only kill half of the tempest and than you will be in huge troubles

      ​@@jimmyha1898 and about thors, yes thor have 11 range and BC have 6, its almost 2x bigger range but BC have almost +50% hp and +50% damage than thors, so normally even on A-move BC win easly. I was testing them so its the fact (without using yamato) The problem is that in that battle here BC fly to the 6 range and after killing thor they stop, than they has to fly closer and start fire again, than stop fire again and come closer, so they have a lot of pauses in shooting without reason while thors shoot constantly. If he move that BC a 1 step closer, or just fly above that thors to not allow that pauses BC normally win thors easly because of huge power level difference

    Motherships only have a 9 base attack. It isn't great.. honestly it's just recall and cloak xD

      it has 9 damage but 6 attacks so its 6x9 = more like 54 than 9 so they fight pretty good, if you wear your glasses you will see that only few thors left with red hp and thor can only fight nothing more, mothership is half fighting half supporting unit. Another time when I see "xD" I know its someone without any knowledge, just shitting crap from the mouth without the brain connection

    Seige tank would have lost none if swiped at the right time; Liberators were so lownin number the forces were not equal minerals and gas even with the power rating, I am sure they would have won like agaisnt the void rays; Zealots should have won by a much higher margin with a simple click of the mouse to go all around! The last one was really fun never tough of multiple mother ships!!

      Micro with cloak and recall is helpful. In pro matches... nope it sucks but on ladder the Mothership is a sucker to combat because everything is cloaked

      nah its very good unit, not only as fighting unit but its also support unit, its a mix fighting+supporting unit. Thor can only shoot, Ms make your army invisible so terran has to scan all the time, it slow down the enemies and gives you additional recall. And remember that thor is very easy to kill by disruptors, disruptors just rape them; 3 disruptor balls killing 10 thors immidiately and for free, theere is nothing what could kill skytoss with such easy way, that thors here barely won with only 5 of them with red hp and fight is the only 1 thing they can do, they are also super slow, I guess thor is the slowest unit in the game
