My roommate has a 14 year old dilute calico. The dilute must have sucked all the friendly out because she's a whole b. She's super intelligent tho but she's meaner than anything. It's taken me three years to condition her to let me pick her up. She used to pitch an absolute fit but now she's decent about it. She still really doesn't like to be pet but she does occasionally come up to you for pets. You get one or two in and then it's all claws and teeth from there. You can look at her and she'll hiss sometimes.

most calico cats are female but how are the male so rare?well there chromosome are usually xy for a female calico cat its usually xx for its chromosome so therefore if a male has a calico coat that means his chromosomes are xxy which is really rare sooo.. hopefully makes sense
