I always thought we would see Paz Vizsla's face at some point since he was a big part of the show. RIP Paz Vizsla.
Him shooting his gun so much that it was glowing and could blow up any second was so bad ass he definitely died a hero
We got one more episode and knowing Gideon he would be the type to display his victim.
We might get to see his face but not in a way we would have liked it and that would make the face reveal so much more sweeter

He went out as is the way. In battle and never removed or allowed anyone to remove his helmet.
This was another unnecessary kill off. We didn’t even learn how a Vizla ended up with the Children of the Watch!
Paz Vizla died a death that can only be dreamt of by others. He fought to protect other Mandalorians who were fighting to reclaim their homeworld. He fought and died on his feet fighting some of the best the empire, post-Vader, has to offer. It was an honorable and satisfying death for a Mandalorian.
And had he not been exhausted from soloing a regiment he’d of low diffed the discount bin guards

It was a good death - like the Last Samurai.
A beautiful dead, like the old Spartans
Not only that, but if you think about it, he redeemed the clan as well.
House Vizsla has been at odds with Bo’s for countless years and in a way, was responsible for things turning out the way they did, everything throughout the clone wars, the empire and what finally came afterwards.
Who knew how much could be changed if House Vizsla, the Deathwatch and everything they did didn’t happen?
We may never know, but what is for certain, is that the moment Paz sealed the door and staved off Gideon’s forces, he redeemed all the shame his clan inflicted upon Mandalore and himself, no longer for power and dividing their people, but a true son of Mandalore and its people’s legacy.
May he stand forever.

When the Pratorian Gaurd came out I like to think that as he was drawing out his Shield and Knife he thought to himself
“Fine… Ain’t no better place to die than right here.”

I didn't realise how much I loved this character until I burst out crying during his last stand. RIP Paz
Paz followed in the footsteps of Canderous Ordo, Pre Viszla, Mandalore the Ultimate. hot blooded, quick tempered, but loyal to the end. he followed the way and did what was right, even if he was cut-throat about it. truly a great representation of the Mandalorian culture
Pre literally betrayed his people in a bid to grab power for himself not for the betterment of his people

When I first heard saw Paz Vizsla I immediately thought of The Clone Wars. His great grandfather fought for the path of his ancestors and had the dark saber but his thirst and power consumed his mind, he never truly cared for his people, maybe more than anyone else never as family. He’d immediately kill one of his own people if they failed a mission or survived a battle. Paz Vizsla always cared for his people and responsibility,he never was as clouded with power maybe he would’ve been corrupted if he had the dark saber or maybe it’s because he had a son to be better for or Din Djarin and Bo-Katan inspired him. There’ can be alot of explanations of why he’s different than his great grandfather.Anyways, I’m glad he fought with honor for his people in hope of their safety and survival instead of going rogue and killing Din Djarin for power due of his grudge of losing to the dark saber. I loved his character development.

RIP. He died a true hero's death and went out fighting and saving his own kin. He redeemed back the Vizsla clan and brought forth the true honor and prestige. His son will be proud of a Good father, a ferocious warrior he once had. Well done. Aligning his death with The Armorer asking in the background if anyone had removed his helmet for him with him answering "never." It's like... "over my dead body."

As soon as he shut the door I knew we were gonna lose a great man. The only thing I thing could have made his last stand better would have been he yelling " FOR MANDALORE" as he beat the dark troopers with his minigun like Commander Thorn did. RIP both of you, your people will never forget your sacrifice.
Paz died with honor like a true Mandalorian. Ragnar will carry on the Vizsla legacy. This is the way.
Tales Clan Vizla one of the oldest Mandalorian clans
Clan Vizla used to rule Mandalore in the time of turbulence. Back then it was Mandalore the Avenger that held the Mandalorian together her name is Shea Vizla the one that took the Dark Saber back from the Jedi.
Since the crown/mask of the Ultimate was forever lost and the Myhtosaur were all extinct the Dark Saber became the symbol of Mandalor and a weapon of great honour and Valor. If it wasn't for Clan Vizla the Dark Saber will never become a symbol it is today.

It is. Jon Favreau is the voice of both and the creator of The Mandalorian. He also directed Iron Man and Iron Man 2 where he plays Happy Hogan.
@Blake Morton I knew about him being happy hogan but didn't know it was him voicing those characters. That's so cool

Even though Paz Vizsla seemed brash, bold, and sometimes prideful he still was a great leader when times were at its darkest. Listening to his speech in the camp was something great to hear, like a General rallying his troops to a noble cause. If anyone deserved a glorious death in battle for a noble cause it was him.

I could definitely be wrong, but I just have a gut feeling he isn't dead.
Might be possible, but doubtful. Out of all the attacks only the last one might have actually got through the armor as the other were only making contact the the side of his body. That being said though it seems like the guards weapons were over heating Paz in his armor due to the smoke coming of his body after he falls.
@@reniorjd yeah, I paid attention the second and subsequent times I watched that scene, and it looked like one went in the gap above his hip, the second was down and through the right shoulder. Definitely not good and potentially fatal. Ironically, as annoying as it's been to see Disney keep resurrecting characters that should have been dead, this is one where I hope it to be the case. Which probably means I'm wrong.... If he did die, he went out in absolutely legendary style the way he wiped out that entire garrison of Beskar stormtroopers, and even after being fatigued and injured from that fight, all three guards still had their hands full with him. His character grew on me during the series. He's strict, devout, and suspicious of the other tribes, but at the end of the day he has been loyal, fair, and knew it was time to put differences aside for the good of their people.
The way he threw his smoked out blaster and just went beast on those troopers was f***ing badass to put it mildly. I hope he's alive somehow, if not, he had the most honorable death a Mandalorian could ask for.
As mando'a is still a living language this may have changed, but from what i remember there is not quite a proper word for death. The closest is probably kyr, or end though in certain connotations it is meant for death.

I can imagine the children having kept certain rituals alive as well. And so now every mando'ade he held the line for has added him to thier nightly prayers.

This to me was probably best part of this whole show but my problem is there’s a little green dude that should have done something.
Of all the mandalorians in the new canon. Paz is the one that reminds me of canderous and the old mandalorians the most.

Remembering Paz Vizsla....the GREAT WARRIOR, one of the GREATEST MANDALORIAN WARRIOR!!!!! His name, Vizsla, has a meaning in my language, in the Hungarian language. We Hungarians has a type of dog, wich name is Magyar Vizsla, in English: Hungarian Vizsla. It is a very good hunting dog. It is big and brave, it is a good hunter and friendly with the kids, it is a good family dog. This Is The Way. I know it seems Paz Vizsla died, but I STILL HOPE HE IS NOT DIED!!!!! It can't be true!!!!! He must live. I hope he is not dead, just seriously injured and Bo Katan will find him and will heals HIM!!!!!!! LET'S PRAY FOR HIM BROTHERS AND SISTERS! BRING HIM BACK! That was a hard scene to watch. Paz was much like my own father. I both hated and loved him fiercely. They were both assholes, but sacrificed themselves for those they loved and respected.
