- Every Level Cannon vs Gear Up Cannon Clash of Clans Ultimate Battle.
In this video : Cannon is the first defense in Clash of Clans. It has decent DPS and hitpoints. It can be upgraded to level 19 which is max level till now. Gearing up the Cannon adds an additional, identical barrel alongside the original one. Also, the ridges which surround Cannons (starting from level 7) get extended and appear to surround both the Cannons, which makes it appear as if two cannons merged into one. When Supercell added feature to Gear Up, it was a big confusing moment which is best between them. When we Gear Up a Cannon, it's range decreased from 9 tiles to 7 tiles but it can fire 3 burst shots at once. It takes time to hit next shot but it's shots are quite powerful. On the other hand, regular Cannon has range of 9 tiles and faster than Geared Up Cannon.
So what do you think guys, which one is powerful? What will be the difference between them? Is it worth upgrading? Let's find out in the video.

I believe it is worth gearing up, because it's just _ONE_ cannon, you still have a couple of *other* cannons! I like gear ups because it adds a little more flair to the village!
If you want the 6th builder it is definitely worth gearing up

I think that the normal connon is meant for low-health, numerous troops, whereas the burst one is meant for tanky troops and heroes. This explains why it is unlocked at town hall 7 with the barbarian king.

The super barbarian is worth the upgrades for sure.
It only got bullied because of his range ability.When range gone level 14 cannon is enough for him.Cannos don't have Range abilities.

In my opinion, it depends on your base. Examine your base and try to make out where a person would start a Queen Walk (since that is where Burst Cannons will be most useful). If you still can't make out where a player would start a Queen Walk on your base, go to replays and see. Then, upgrade the cannon which is closest to the side where the Queen Walk begins. Then you'll be good.

I think it depends more on the base design some base designs can make use out of it while others are just not designed for it to get value.
By the looks of it, both are worth upgrading, it's just the part we need overall defenses to cooperate.

My one critique of this test is regular cannons have the advantage of range but it didn't seem like you used it. I think if you could place the troops right outside the range and then let them run in then we can fairly say short range fast firing or long range slower. Otherwise great video! 👍

Seems like a graph of the value would be a wave, where the Cannon is typically more useful because of its consistent fire rate and the delay between bursts of the GU Cannon. If it syncs up right, the GU Cannon does more damage from its bursts, but the normal Cannon kind of makes up the difference in the time between GU's bursts.

Double Cannon is not worth it if, the target is squishy and mass. But, worth it if about troops had a lot of lives.
Cannon had more attack speed and better to the mass troops than Double Cannon. But Cannon is squishy if, troops are tanky.

I would prefer the non-geared up cannons would be near the th because many troops gather around the th in the end of the battle. We should use the geared up in the outskirts of the base because some single troops manage to go near the cannon. (especially giants). Also, like the gun-named guy said, people nowadays are attacking only with e-drags,so I would prefer upgrading the Air defenses and archer towers,etc. So,my opinion is to gear- up sone of the cannons in the outskirts of the village while others can be the long range cannons near the th. My personal opinion.

So the shingles shot canon only fire one round for second but it has a longer range and uses one cannonball per unit
And the double cannon does twice the damage but has shorter range and fires one salvo of cannons at one single unit So I recommend having the double cannon near the Townhall and the single shot cannon kind of away from your Townhall so the long range Canon has a better chance of getting units before they come in

Geared cannon is good for single target, but the classic cannon is good for single and also good for long range. I prefer geared for early and long range for endgame
In my opinion it depends a lot of the strategy you are using. Gearing up adds more variety to that.
Doble barrel cannons can do pretty well against pekkas, golens and other tanky units if they are properly defended.
Multi mortars have better acurracy and start shooting immediately so you can't just ignore them with well timed fast units.
Gear up Archers are the most useless one bc they are terrible against flying units. They have the same 5 tiles range of the doble cannons and are basically a better version of it since it can switch between targets very well. Despite making a base good against ground units, im not sure if is worth having one less archer to work on dragons and ballons at distance. If you want to have one i recomend having both of your xbow on flying target mode.
