How far you want to go is entirely up to you. If you just go through season one, you get an excellent story with a satisfactory conclusion. If you choose to venture further into seasons two or three, your experience WILL get increasingly worse.

Angela’s character had a lot of potential that screenwriters didn’t take into account.
Very entertaining to watch Jimmi Simpson play a straight man (I don't mean heterosexual - i.e., someone who isn't just clowning around and being over-the-top funny). I'm so used to him being silly (e.g., McPoyle on Always Sunny) that it's cool to see him as a regular (albeit wealthy) person.

What's wrong with feminism? Feminism is all sorts of things to many people, but ultimately it's really just the equality of women and men's rights. What's so great about being an old-fashioned woman? Some of the beliefs they had were quite oppressive of themselves and their "role". I am not anti-traditionalist in terms of I think we could all learn a lot if we went a bit more retro. Modernity isn't all that great - we're still missing something that the past had. I don't see what is so bad about women being sexed-up dolls if they want to be sexed-up dolls, better to be sexually liberated than to conform to yet another set of rules under "feminism".
I need to watch this all again one day, season blew my mind at several points.
