      @@kyalojesse3120 While so chilling in Westworld, it's really out of context. In Romeo&Juliet the priest who is party to their love affair says this in relation to their powerful and sudden love. The word violent is used more to describe the sudden-ness of it rather than actual harm. But then thats kinda the foreshadowing of the play. So the quote essentially means "This sudden love can abruptly fade."

      Check out "Into the forest". I saw it last night and while there are parts of the movie that are a bit illogical, her acting is pure perfection. 2 scenes in particular: the rape scene (difficult to sit through) and the back massage scene in particular (I re-watched her performance several times). Well I say acting but honestly from what she went though her life, it might not have been acting as much as just relieving those traumas on screen. It's mind boggling how much emotion she displays in that back massage scene. You feel every emotion with her.

      Considering how crappy the movie it's based on actually is I think the show turned out amazing. The movie even laughs at the concept of a computer virus, the punch line being "like a biological virus but for computers? Ha!". That should tell you all you need to know about it xD (btw that's not a spoiler, the movie and the show part from the same idea but take it in different directions)
      Edit: Don't get me wrong, the idea of the movie was great but the execution not so much.

    • @jd5787
      @jd5787 7 лет назад +12

      RagnarTheRed you have to put the original movie in its historical context: in 1973 personal computers were inexistent, the public didn't know what Microsoft/Apple etc were... The original movie was a great actor as the gunslinger (yul Brunner), Western (a money spinning concept, Yul played in a few of these), robots (sci-fi) and the creation turning against its creators (action).
      It was pretty forward thinking for its time.
      The TV series is using the movie as its base but is expanding big time on the characters, the various storylines, the way the stories are presented to us... Great movie (for its time) and great show today.

    In a world where everyone complains about an agenda to force this "girl power" thing on everyone I think the character of Dolores has been ignored as a fantastic example of a full female character. Evan Rachel Wood played such an amazing range in this character arch. She went from the damsel in distress to the full on femme fatale action hero. It really sucks that the main version of the character was killed off in the end of season three. I hope Evan Rachel Wood returns in some form going forward in the series as she is a major highlight of that series.

    The role which she is playing within the movie, is so TOTALLY DIFFERENT to herself how she is acting in this clip here! Amazing how she has played the charakter Dolores: Dolores is so sensitive, calm, silent, insecure, - at least in the beginning. And in this clip, the actress is behaving exactly in the other direction: She is lively, laughs a lot, uses gestures, appears confident, speaks fast and loud. This contrast is amazing!

      I realise this is a 5 year old comment, but it just reminded me of Emilia Clarke, and when I watched one of her interviews for the first time and realised she is a complete opposite of the character she played in GoT. Emilia is so goofy, and happy all the time, I just never expected this from somebody who played Khaleesi. Same with Evan Rachel Wood, in reality she is so fun and upbeat, whereas Dolores is a lot more calm, sensitive, and overall more serious. Both women are fantastic actors.

      & MastrROmeans MastER in English but they--- RO"RO=33 numerically the number used to signify a mastro or why CRONus/master/ER"ER=23 or W which is why CERN"--- do have different hidden meanings as all names are program function with-in an artificial construct. This is why Morpheus(means god of dreams) tells Neo he can't really trust people which is a take on all realities being AI already. Red dress of matrix is also symbology referencing people being paid to act as human shields or why Red Shield is what Rothschild the banker name means. You are welcome. OC~~~
