alright bro i watched a video prior to this and he didn't give enough information and i've been struggling for 40 minutes lol. gave your video a go and it was a success, thank you!
Hello, I have taken my photographs of jewelry, however, occasionally the background is grayish where I want it to be absolutely bright white. I'm not interested in a transparent background either. Can you please help in advising what tool(s) I would need to make each background bright white and how to go about it. Oh, I'm using version 4.2.13. Thanks in advance.
Are there any details in the background, or is it just blank? If it's just blank and almost white, but not quite there, you could potentially increase the contrast of the photos. That will make the grayish tone more white, but it will also make the shadows darker, so you will have to get the right balance between brightness and contrast. So just go to "Adjustments" and then "Brightness / Contrast". There you can tweak it to you liking. If it still doesn't look right, you might need to take the photos in another way or do some more advanced editing, but that's unlikely. Let me know if you still have trouble.
@@Faloliver When editing my initial photo, I always go to Brightness/Contrast. However, some photo backgrounds are still not a bright white. There must be another way to brighten the background to a bright white maybe using some tools. It's really frustrating because I'm sure there must be another way to do this, however, I am unfamiliar as to what the answer is and how to go about it. Any other advice you can shed on my situation would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the quick reply!
@@allaccessoryshop You could try to play around with curves (Adjustments > Curves), but it's basically just a more advanced version of Brightness / Contrast. The only other thing I can think of is cutting out the subject, which in this case is jewelry I'm guessing. But that's not worth it, since it takes a lot of time, and it probably won't look good in the end. It would be easier if I could see the photos, because then I would know what to do. By the way, sorry for the inconvenience.
@@Faloliver I'd like to send you one of my photos and you'll see what I'm talking about. I just tried a photo with using the paintbrush tool and painstakingly use white on the background. It takes a lot of time but looks very white. However, there must be an easier and quicker way to do this. Where can I send you the photo so you can see what I'm talking about? Maybe then you can offer me any other solutions. Thanks.
Restart the program for it to show up, or if that doesn't work, I would try to reinstall Paint net entirely. And if that doesn't work either for some reason, then the plugin is probably broken.
You might have installed it in a different location. If you can't find it, I'd suggest reinstalling Paint.net and make sure it's getting installed in the right location.

Hello, Do you know maybe if there is a plugin to convert a jpeg into a BMP but only with 3 colors, like black, white and red?
I'm fairly certain you can already do that without any plugins.
When you save the image as a .bmp, you should be able to set the bit depth.
