You can only have 5 sound alerts set to channel points, but 30 for bits. So if you’re like me and prefer engagement over extra money from the bits, I recommend setting some bits sound alerts to cost 0 bits. You can even then change some of the better “free” bits sound alerts to “subscriber only”, so it further rewards your subbers without costing them more than a sub

I'm not sure what browser sources are technically used for Android apps, but I only have my mobile device and a PS5 for streaming. when i try to set up a new alert it only gives me an option for follower or raid and even when i set up the raid the text part says user followed not raided. i'm so confused help please
Question: Sound Alerts plays on my Desktop Audio but i want to change the Device it plays on to "CABLE Input (VB-Audio Virtual Cable) since i use Voicemeter. Usually i'd press the Gear Icon - Properties - Change Device to My Preferred Audio Track. But since its a browser source, theres no option for this so im stuck with Desktop audio My game audio plays on desktop audio so i don't want Sound Alerts to merge with game audio when I'm recording since I prefer having multiple audio tracks like RUclips for music/videos etc. As a RUclipsr/Streamer, Different Audio Tracks are a god send when it comes to editing videos and highlights so figuring this out is a priority for me. Anys I hope this makes sense, any tips or help is appreciated!!
Can there be a surprise alert? Like the viewers can search and find their own alerts they want and play them? Or do i have to just add my the alerts myself?
I really want the bit to work at a minimum require amount to activate the alert. I'm not picky about someone having to redeem an exact value of lets say '10' or '5' bits to activate my alert. Is there such thing to have it set to '1' and whatever the user redeems like a random '11' or '13' would it activate my alert either way? Or is it limited to the exact bit cost I select for it?
So I did all of this. I can get the test alert to pop through OBS, but when I go live to test it. It just pops up that its been redeemed, but wont play for me. I stream from my console through a capture card on my computer with OBS. Is there a way I can hear the audio if I don't have the computer audio in my ear?
My test button works, but the channel point menu buttons dont work. Ive disconnected and reconnected it a bunch of times. Changed it from component to overlay and back.
Question regarding the monitoring section. Is there a way we can hear the alert without the monitoring? I use a VR Cable to output sound from OBS monitoring audio to different apps/games so that my in game audio sounds the same as OBS. Or would an external mixer be required? So I can play the test alert for the alert I just created, and everything works fine I can hear it and see the image, but when I go live and try following myself from a different account to test it out, nothing happens. The alert does not play and the image doesn't show. The browser says its connected, I even tried the DNS server thing in the sound alerts solution tab.

The sound alert is working but the sound is stopping right after it started same thing for the alert it stop right after the activation and it s really annoying (im on streamlabs)
I had host, follow and raid alerts set up. On a recent stream the host notification worked but the follow notification didn't. Just got off stream an hour ago and the host notification did not pop up at all, not even the chatbot worked. What can I do to fix this?

Great question! Yes, you can set up one general sub alert via the Dashboard that will activate for each number of resub months.

The Channel Points are not connected to the Twitch Extension and will automatically appear below chat once you completed the setup in our Dashboard.

There is a checkbox for you to untick in the Scene Editor settings on the left side (the page where you added the widget).

i cannot create "other alerts" more than 2. Which are Raid and New Follower. There no other options
More alerts are only available to Twitch Partners and Affiliates since your channel does not include events like Subs yet (a restriction by Twitch).

I use Opera Browser and I can´t use the Samples in the Libary, Opera doesnt play the sound, with other Browsers it works.
