Build looks really good! What shocks are those? I didn't see a link to them in your notes. Let us know how well they work for you, and keep up the great work!
Use 4 concrete lag nuts flush with the floor that way you can drag the bender out , lag bolt it to the floor , use it then just remove 4 bolts and stow it.
in my sculpture class we had a pipe bender attached an old car wheel with a tire on it - this kept it stable but also let you walk it out when you needed more room around it
Use drop in anchors. Lowes and Depot have them. They'll install flush with the floor, allow you to bolt bender to floor when needed and remove the bender when not needed. I did this in my garage at my old apartment for my manual tire changer. Worked great. I put rubber plugs in the anchors when not in use so the threads wouldn't get clogged with dirt and debris.
Epoxy nuts in the floor. Use two different bits so the bolt goes far down but the nut doesn’t move. This will allow u to remove bolts and have no studs poking out.
On the last two "cafe" type bikes I built I made little battery boxes for lithium ion batteries that mount to the rear cross member directly under the swing arm pivot. Requires a little extra wiring but they hide pretty well under there, and it keeps the upper "triangle" area looking really clean.
Well done on your new place & garage man, from a fellow cafe racer builder/youtuber, it's nice to see how your workshop is getting so nice, definitely a dream workshop for me :) bikes are looking good too! keep it up!
I would love to see a full custom bike build. (I mean change almost everything on the bike in some way whether that be color or design) For example, change a dual shock motorcycle to single shock.
How about drilling holes in the floor and drop sleeves into them. Use pins that fit through the base of the bender into the sleeves. Since all your force is sideways, don't think it needs to be bolted down.
Great to see back working on the bike! I'm jealous of the new shop! My god it looks great, I have to work on my bike in a harbor height portable garage!!! Congats on the new place very cool!!!!
Shops looking great. I thought you were gonna place that electronics bracket on top of those threaded holes to tuck the fuse up a little more. Kawi is looking really well overall.
I dont understany why you don't just flatten that bracket where the fuse box hangs down. You could either bend it straight, or cut out the downturn and weld it so the whole bracket is flat. That is if it bothers you. I dont think it would be that noticable.
There we go Taylor, been waiting for you to get the chanel going again :D Nice shop. I think you should go with a smaller and a black head light on the KZ. /Carl from Sweden
Looks good, some good ideas already mentioned for you to mount your tube bender, Nice set up on the computer as well. Looking forward to some new content.
Shop looks great awesome job! Shocks definitely look better. I'd tuck the batt up under the seat somewhere. I wouldn't want any dirt, mud etc. Getting to it if you're taking it off road. More Vids !! CooL 👍
Kevin B. Thanks for the information I obviously know that already but bc I only have an iPhone I can’t make the screen big enough to see his screen. Lol
Shop looks amazing! Love the tv for the shop pc. Is that a Mac mini you use for it? Still waiting for the unveiling of the two bikes covered! And hmm 🤔. Going full time RUclips? Curious lol.
1: Can you just pound the electronics bracket flat so it doesn't have that step in it? 2: What happens if you run a lithium Ion battery on the factory reg/rec?
They said it should work fine as long as the battery is designed to work with stock voltage output. I git a Shorai that can handle up to 14.7V so we should be good
Nice little custom triangle metal side covers half the size of the space I think looks better than just an open hole ,, every body else does the open hole thing and I think it’s butt ugly like that

Exactly what I would do, great suggestion!

So lucky to have a shop like that. I will too one day!
Very Nice installation and projets ! Beautiful workshop !
Man the shop looks amazing. I can’t wait to see the bike finished.

holy shit that shop space is pure
The new shop is looking great

You can drill a bunch of little holes in the little half size of openings space where traditional side covers would be

I have been wanting to do that for a long time. Sounds like fun.
Cleaning up the electronics is what I'm doing on my triumph chopper as I'm watching this right now.........and obviously commenting on here😎
New shop looking nice
Man ,you must have been working your butt off getting things done. Looks good.
I'm looking at picking one of these bikes up soon. Your videos are inspiring.
Boy you've put in a ton of work, the shop looks amazing 👍 KZ coming along nicely too
Good job man love the new digs. Flatten out the bracket to bring the fuse box up higher. Keep her lit !

Great job👍 Hope you're going to move that welding magnet off the filing cabinet - it's screaming "I belong on the other side" ! 🤣🤣🤣
DUDE! Your shop is so amazing haha really turned out awesome. Stoked to follow this build too.
Thanks!
Great to see back working on the bike! I'm jealous of the new shop! My god it looks great, I have to work on my bike in a harbor height portable garage!!! Congats on the new place very cool!!!!

Cool saloon! Gotta have a beer in there some day! 🍻😎🇺🇸
Taylor is quitting his job and doing this full time???? LOL Probably not true but that would be so cool for him and the channel!
Shops looking great. I thought you were gonna place that electronics bracket on top of those threaded holes to tuck the fuse up a little more. Kawi is looking really well overall.
Love the new setup.
Love the garage so far. Amazing job man!!
Awesome setup! Love seeing all the bikes lined up, Very enviable space!
Also youtuber here. - you
Thanks!
This KZ is coming along nicely! I want to do my own take on a KZ scrambler hopefully in the soonish future... Assuming I can find one. :P
You might be able to tuck the battery under the carbs and in between the case.
Very cool love the new set up

Shop looking great! Pump out the vids!
Thanks!
That bike is looking great. I really want to do my own old school build now.
Do it!
Great GARAGE ✌
Greetings from Poland
Shop looking really fabulous, Taylor! 🏍👍🏍
Thanks Gary.

Pump them out! I love what you do with these bikes. Still love that Barn to Brat project bike. I am surprised it hasn't sold yet.
I haven't really tried to sell it because I want to keep it. I will properly list it soon though. It's time to make room.
Mount the tube bender device outside and cover it with a gas grill cover. No need to have it under foot in the garage for as often as you will use it.
Have you checked out cafe racer garage, he made a seat release for one of is bikes.
The shop looks great.
Kevin B. Thanks for the information I obviously know that already but bc I only have an iPhone I can’t make the screen big enough to see his screen. Lol
Shop looks great
Dude am loving the vives of the new shop, insanely cool bruh successful progress man 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🤜🏼🤛🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👍🏼
Thanks!
No sabes como me gustaría poder tener en mi casa todas esas motos y hacer lo mismo que vos
Me gusta mucho tu canal Saludos desde Argentina

Still waiting for the unveiling of the two bikes covered!
And hmm 🤔. Going full time RUclips? Curious lol.
Thanks, yeah it's a Mac mini.
Well wing nuts to the head of the bolts that mount the seat🤔
cafe racer garage put his belt sander stand on some kinda wheels, maybe that would work for your pipe bender
I freakin love your workshop !😍
Keep up the good work !👌
Thanks!
Love the shop man!! I’m ready to have a bigger garage also!!
It’s awesome your in austin
Yeah I need to know what brand shocks those are please! Thanks
the ad was up on his monitor in the beginning of the vid!

Are you thinking about adding a paint booth?
Maybe a small one for wheels and tanks.
1: Can you just pound the electronics bracket flat so it doesn't have that step in it? 2: What happens if you run a lithium Ion battery on the factory reg/rec?
You can over charge and damage lithium batteries with a stock regulator. They don't like much over 14V
Seat use two big bolts and wing nuts
Get rid of that clear/ white rear reservoir to black metal one ? Please
if you're worried about the look of the relay drop the bike on the ground and have a look
Where can you get those rear shocks? Thanks!
Did you find out if the voltage regulator was compatible with lithium ion batteries?
They said it should work fine as long as the battery is designed to work with stock voltage output. I git a Shorai that can handle up to 14.7V so we should be good
What ultrasonic cleaner do you use man?
amzn.to/2EbWrlk This one.
Use blade fuses. They sale them at Walmart
I scored on a kz750
Fucking mean bro 🤙
What year is the KZ?
What shocks are they? I been looking for a decent set for my kz
Ever get an answer? Curious too.
what did you decide for the air filter
Went with some oval style pod filters that are designed to work better with these carbs. I will show them when I put them on the bike.
Nice little custom triangle metal side covers half the size of the space I think looks better than just an open hole ,, every body else does the open hole thing and I think it’s butt ugly like that
Just build a small battery box and mount under swingarm
I plan on doing some off roading with this bike so I will probably put it somewhere where under the seat so I don't smash it on a rock.
I’ve got a bike I wanna build can I pay you to make and weld a hoop?
Hey Ray, Email me some details on the bike and we can work out the details. ClassicOctane@gmail.com
!!!!!!!!!!!!
Should show the work your doing rather than just talking about what your going to do/ done
Time lapse or actual real time walkthrough?
Please do more fabrication and less talking
