The double cross over always sounds so clean. I have a h pipe that then goes into a x and a muffler delete and it sounds very unique

I've seen that on this channel, 5.0 with H into X then I think a muffler delete. Always wondered how that sounds in person.

I love the sound of the Double Helix!

    None of these sound bad.
The Magnaflow has that typical packed muffler early 2000's sound that they and Borla built a fortune on, but it is kinda nice and mild without being too dead sounding.
It's hard to pick between the MBRP and the double-helix cars because they sound so similar, but I can bet the MBRP car has a helluva lot less drone with those Helmholtz resonators (not J-pipes) in place and they both have a more "open" sound than the Magnaflow, but the orange car is a bit throatier than the blue MBRP car so I'd go that way, personally.
That is a Helmholtz resonator on the MBRP exhaust, not a J-pipe and it works by using the air inside the neck to act like a spring against the air in the chamber to absorb drone, not by destructive reflection like a J-pipe does.
They also work much better (over a wider range of frequencies and more volume) than J-pipes do.

I got the same MBRP kit from American muscle. Open box deal for $450. Im running catless longtubes with it. Full beast mode and drone isnt bad.

Double helix straight pipe for the win

Nice work! 👊🏻🔨😎 They all sound great.

I would only go Magnaflows with longtube headers. They are too deep and not loud enough with stock shorties. Nontheless, they all sound good, out of these three, MBRP for the win, for the sound at its price, and it comes with a H-Pipe.

Magnaflows are awesome imo. They sound even better as they age.

Magnaflow sounds really good, mbrp sounds really great, and double helix sounds really great as well. But tbh. Magnaflow wins from me

This is the only Mustang Magnaflow sounds good on imo. Hated it on my 95, hated it on my 03 and 04, and hate it on the 3v. That being said, it sounds really good here.
The MBRP, I just love the way they sound on the coyote. Little more rowdy than the other two in the video, but I think the entire catback is less than some axle backs. The H pipes are a nice mix in those kits with both the street and the race series.
The double helix sounds awesome, but I think (in my opinion) it would pair better with an actual axle back rather than just muffler deletes.
Awesome video though, I can’t get enough of these 5.0’s.

No one does true duals anymore but I get so many compliments on my exhaust and everyone asks me how did I get my Coyote to sound like that 😂.

Actually, the Magnaflow had the deepest tone and nice growl. 2nd best was Double Helix, but this and the MBRP both had a high pitch, raspy sound on take-off (beast-mode). 🏁🏁🏁

Those are helmholtz chambers. J pipes will never be able to do what those do. I have some that came with my thermal exhaust. I cut out the mufflers and replaced them with black widow mufflers to make it louder. With the helmholtz chambers i have ZERO drone. whoever figure out how to sell those universally will really change the game because j pipes don’t do jack. I dont think they’re big enough in diameter

every single coyote pretty much sounds like the mbrp and the double helix its an american v8 why does it need to sound like a euro v8 H pipe and resos and its back to super deep

Magnaflow are filled with fluff. Borla all the way ✊
Magnaflow make good X pipes, though.
