Sorry for slow response. I bet they could build from parts. I assume someone makes a frame for sale and I know for sure all the panels and other parts are out there in new production. I'd love to see someone do that.

We actually had a close family member ask if they could have it because even though they are now 55-years old, they fondly remember learning to drive in it back when they were 15. This guy said without reservation that he would keep it the rest of his life. That’s part of the reason we were willing to let it go. Good luck with your search.

I wonder if a person built a whole Jeep (first generation) from the ground up with new aftermarket parts? It seems like you could. Any thoughts?

Thanks for the answer. Informationaly I’m seventy four years old. I do love Jeep’s. I am looking for a ‘46 because that is when I was born.
