@Jose Raul Miguens Cruz That's why Japan doesn't truly become the USA's ally again. They trusted the USA once and the USA stabbed them in the back with an oil embargo and other sanctions which crippled their empire. That lead to Japan attacking the Hawaii military base and then much later 2 cities of people being wiped out, as well as half of the people in Tokyo being murdered with fire bombs.
So Japan doesn't trust the USA anymore, they know they are a fake ally. That if Japan is ever in a susceptible position that the US would stab them in the back again and mass nuke their cities and wipe out all of their citizens.
This is why Japan refuses to help the US in wars, even though the US has asked for help with the UN claiming Japan has authorisation to join the war. Japan also invests a lot in China and China is now their biggest trading partner.
Japan knows that while they and China have had some differences, that at least the Chinese have no desire to wipe them out (as the Chinese are racially like brothers a bit anyway). Yet Americans are mostly white nationalists and would wipe out a whole country off Asian people if they were allowed to.
