If there is a way around that to make unarmed strikes get thru late-game DR I'm all ears. If so, I can drop monk levels to 6 and drop thug dip, giving me 5 more levels to pump into sorc for additional utility/spell casting. I even played with a 3monk dip for the fast move/ki strike (magic) but it felt like the more I shied from the monk levels the less effective unarmed melee seemed and being an unarmed melee caster is kind of the whole point. I'm a little unsure of the interaction between spell strike and flurry of blows...the way I read it, the spell goes off on the attack with flurry so you just add a spell effect/dmg to your flurry. but with 6levels ES and 4 levels, DD that's only level 3 arcane spells and it just seems like going straight sorc is the better option. maybe my feat progression just needs more optimization so I can still get crane/cornugon feats? I'd rather spread skills across a party and have everyone be a truly minmaxed combat monster (since combat is probably 95% of the game), but this is about as good as a skill monkey can get, if one were inclined to drag one along. :p
You should drag one along. It always makes the DM mad
@@ArcaneAgent Oh, in an actual pen & paper campaign it can be hilarious, yeah. The pc has no feelings though, unfortunately. :p
So tru
why doesnt eldrich arcana mod work there are two versions on the nexus
Because the mod operator hasnt updated it since kingmaker went definitive edition
@@ArcaneAgent well there is an updated version but unity mod manager won’t even recognize it and I tried manually placing in the mods folder and it won’t show the menu in game either
Thus the detriment of playing with mods
