Been a revert for a year now and started niqab after moving to uni Alhamduillah, 5 months niqabi now. Coming from Hindu family it’s tough with family and extended family. when I visit my parents I don’t wear my niqab or hijab 😭 Question I’m close to my cousins and they’re like brothers to me, how do I deal with them? Any advice on how I can observe in front of my non Muslim family?

Hi sister, Every country in the world has its own culture of clothing. Most Muslim women around the world wear modest clothing according to their country’s culture, they don’t wear burqa niqab like Arab women this is the reality of the present modern age! If according to you the burqa is the only designated dress in Islam then why don’t Muslim women all over the world wear the same burqa niqab? I would like to know your answer on this
@@mdarfat121 hello! I’m aware that the niqab/burqa isn’t the majority view on the legislated hijab, however the Jilbab (which is the black thing I’m wearing without the niqab) is the the legislated hijab. Stop being brainwashed by Muslim extremists. It's fine to post yourself as long as you fulfill the 8 conditions of hijab. I know you guys love quoting "and stay in your homes" but stop taking verses out of context. I'm not here to discuss fiqh, but please accept that people follow differences of opinion. Just because something is normalised, doesn't mean it's wrong
Delete tiktok, surround yourself with people who don’t listen to music or just be alone. Dislike it in your heart if you can’t switch it off when it’s playing or cover your ears. Seek ilm (knowledge) about it and why it’s haram and most importantly listen to the Quran, memorise Quran, connect yourself to the Quran and make dua in shaa Allah. It’s honestly much easier than you think, you just have the take that first step of deleting social media with music like tiktok, uninstalling Spotify and deleting playlists off other apps too.
