    Sahih Al-Bukhari 6125 Narrated Anas bin Malik: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Make things easy for the people, and do not make it difficult for them, and make them calm (with glad tidings) and do not repulse (them). Sahih al-Bukhari 39 Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Religion is very easy and whoever overburdens himself in his religion will not be able to continue in that way. So you should not be extremists, but try to be near to perfection and receive the good tidings that you will be rewarded; and gain strength by worshipping in the mornings, the afternoons, and during the last hours of the nights." (See Fath-ul-Bari, Page 102, Vol 1). And also a Hadith of the Prophet SAW who said: Sunan Abi Dawud 4608 ‘Abd Allah b. Mas’ud reported the Prophet (ﷺ) as saying: "Beware! The extremists perished," saying it three times. Abu Hurairah narrated: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said; “The religion (of Islam) is easy, and whoever makes the religion a rigor, it will overpower him. ” (Al-Bukhari) According to a report: “The best of your religion is that which is easiest, the best of your religion is that which is easiest.” Musnad Ahmad (3/479). Sahih al-Bukhari 6125 Sahih al-Bukhari 6125 Narrated Anas bin Malik: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Make things easy for the people, and do not make it difficult for them, and make them calm (with glad tidings) and do not repulse (them ). Thus We made you a “wasat” (moderate) upright nation, that you might be witnesses for all of humanity, and the messenger a witness over yourselves. (2:143) “So keep your duty to Allaah and fear Him as much as you can” [al-Taghaabun 64:16] And the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “When I tell you to do something, do as much of it as you can.” The issues that are based on this principle are innumerable. In Musnad al-Imam Ahmad (5/32), in a report which was classed as hasan by the commentators on the Musnad, it is narrated that Mihjan ibn al-Adra’ said: I came with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), and when we were at the door of the mosque, we saw a man who was praying. He said: “Do you think he is sincere?” I said: “O Prophet of Allaah, this is So and so, he is one of the best of the people of Madeenah, or one of those who pray the most of the people of Madeenah.” He said: “Don't let him hear you lest you be doomed” - two or three times - “you are an ummah for whom I want ease.” Better Order: According to a report: “The best of your religion is that which is easiest, the best of your religion is that which is easiest.” Musnad Ahmad (3/479). Correction: The sharia does not legislate that in order to observe hijab you have to wear a khimar or abaya. In doesn’t have specific rulings regarding the exact clothing. What it does provide are guidelines to modesty. Numerous scholars have clearly stated that so long as your clothing is in line with the rulings of Islamic modesty, then you are observing hijab. Your interpretation is an extremist interpretation, there is no Hadith stating that you have to wear a jilbab or a khimar in order to observe hijab.

    • @acoperita
      @acoperita Час назад

      I find your comment to be misleading because there are hadiths that states the bare minimum of hijab is indeed the jilbab and it is indeed the consensus among the majority of the scholars in any madhab not just the main 4. Countless tafseers on sura azhab, such as the one by ibn Kathir and ibn saadi states that it is indeed jilbab or something that resembles it. Ibn bas also has his commentary on the root word of jalabib in the Quran and how it means a complete coverage of something. If you don’t beleive the face and hands are awrah then the bare minimum is a Jilbab or abaya and khimar. Narrated Safiya bint Shaiba: Aisha used to say: “When (the verse): “They should draw their veils over their necks and bosoms…,” was revealed, (the ladies) cut their waist sheets at the edges and covered their heads and faces with those cut pieces of cloth.” [Sahih Al-Bukhari] Allah’s Messenger said: “The Salat of a women who has reached the age of menstruation is not accepted without a Khimar” [Jami’ at-Tirmidhi 377] Allah’s Messenger (PBUH) used to offer the Fajr prayer and some believing women, covered with their veiling sheets, used to attend the Fajr prayer with him and then they would return to their homes unrecognized. [Sahih Al-Bukhari] Ibn Hajar said in Fath al-Bari: There is a report of Ibn Abi Hatim via ‘Abd-Allah ibn ‘Uthman ibn Khaytham from Safiyyah that explains that. This report says: We mentioned the women of Quraysh and their virtues in the presence of ‘Aishah and she said: “The women of Quraysh are good, but by Allah I have never seen any better than the women of the Ansar, or any who believed the Book of Allah more strongly or had more faith in the Revelation. When Surat al-Nur was revealed - “and to draw their veils all over Juyubihinna (i.e. their bodies, faces, necks and bosoms)” - their menfolk came to them and recited to them what had been revealed, and there was not one woman among them who did not go to her apron, and the following morning they prayed wrapped up as if there were crows on their heads The riders used to pass by us when we were with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in ihram, and when they drew near to us we would lower our jilbabs from our heads over our faces, then when they had passed we would uncover them again. (Narrated by Abu Dawud, 1833; Ibn Majah, 2935 Barakallahu feeki ❤

    this is so true as a Shia muslim revert of 10 years I’ve been questioning this for years. I was raised “christian” and I started having panic attacks at 4 years old when I understood the concept of death. And then at 15 it escalated in to drug abuse and then I came to a point where I didn’t see a meaning with anything like why even live if we are just going to disappear, it got to the point where I couldn’t leave my house without having a panic attack. Then as a final desperate attempt I locked my self in my room for 6 months in search of the truth with a genuine heart. I in-depth researched all the major and some minor religions in the world, from a sientific and logical, spiritual and historical perspective. I had a bunch of questions that needed to be answered starting from big bang to dinosaurs to neandetrthals ect all the way to the present day. Most religions didn’t get past even the first few questions without major issues. I then when I thought I had gone through all the religions and I was about to give up I just remembered that Islam existed and I just knew it was the truth and I reverted at 16 years old, so I would want to make an input that just because your are young and reverent doesn’t mean that your get manipulated by extremism. And pretty soon after that it was easy to find myself in the footsteps of ahlulbayt. No one with a true search for the pleasure of Allah can ever de manipulated in to extremest group. But even so I haven’t stopped doing critical research and analysis over the years now 10 years later I’m alhamdulillah stronger in my faith as a Shia Muslim then ever… and I will forever challenge anyone to try and find a single fault in the Shia Islamic teachings. Because there are non. I even had a bad period where I even actively wanted to disprove my own faith because I was pissed at all the rules for a while. Still there was no disproving anything only confirming, which instead of achieving what saytan was trying to achieve it only managed to get me even closer to the Allah swt. We need a lot more compassion in this world especially in our ummah, Allah is Al-rahman Al-raheem, and if we look at the likes of Prophet Mohammed sawa or Imam Ali as the are the complete opposites to what the extremest groups are. I recently put in the niqab as well, Most of our schoolars is not deeming it wajib (only if we have beautifications on the face like makeup or piercings or something like that) but it’s the sunnah of my female roll models such as Fatimah Zahra as or sayida Zaineb as and i absolutely love it even if a lot of “Shia Muslims” are sadly against niqab for some reason. Life is too short to go and be angry or harsh or bitter to everyone around us that doesn’t live exactly like us, just strive to get at close to Allah as possible and be an example of how a Muslim should be not just look wise but also akhlaq wise and I’ll think we’ll get a lot further inshallah. Sorry for the rambling but the I hope I got my point across without sounding random I was trying to keep it short🥲

      As salamu alaykum. I hear you and your journey. It was also the scientific and historical as well as the hadiths on the end of times that drew me closer to Islam. My question to you though is why the sect? Why not just follow the Quran and Sunnah and limit it to “I proclaim Allah as my Lord, Islam as my religion and Muhammad (PBUH) as my prophet. Allah says in (6:159) "Indeed, those who have divided their religion and become sects-you, [O Muhammad], are not [associated] with them in anything. Their affair is only [left] to Allah; then He will inform them about what they used to do." This verse condemns religion being divided into sects and groups, highlighting that such actions are contrary to the principles of Islamic unity and Tells our prophet (PBUH) to dissociate himself with those who endorse this division. If the Quran is our main guidance, this verse should be enough to say ‘ I am a Muslim’ khalas.

    10:40 "So during the time of Jahiliyya, the women were obviously not observing the hijab." Historically incorrect, Jahiliyya women did wear hijab as much as other Jahilliyya men wore turban. Based on historical evidence and interpretations of the Quran, women during the pre-Islamic era (Jahiliyyah) generally wore head coverings (khimar), but the manner in which they wore them differed from the guidelines later introduced in Islam. In pre-Islamic Arabian society, wearing a head covering (khimar) was already a common cultural practice among women. This was not something new introduced by Islam but part of their existing attire. Women at the time wore the khimar draped behind their shoulders, leaving their necks, throats, and upper chest exposed. Imam Qurtubi, in his tafsir, mentions that women of Jahiliyyah would let the ends of their khimar fall behind, leaving the chest and upper body uncovered. Allah commands: "...and let them draw their veils (khimar) over their chests..." (Surah An-Nur: 31) This verse clarified that believing women, who already wore the khimar, were instructed to adjust its manner of use to cover their necks and chests modestly. The directive does not introduce the khimar as a new concept but modifies its purpose and usage to align with Islamic modesty requirements.

      @@faisalfirdausiinn4708 barakallahu feeki for this comment. It is also evident through certain Hadiths what you are mentioning. When I claim they were not observing hijab I am referring to the Islamic guidelines of the hijab since they were still adorning themselves and committing what we now refer to as ‘tabaruj’.

    Just came across this today and I’ve subscribed! I also don’t understand their logic because when you look at the stories of the prophets of Allah, all of them had to deal with disobedience people, people who argued back-and-forth with them, people who mocked them, and some had to deal with people who tried to kill them or had killed them . Yet with everything they went through, these prophets just did their job and they just preached. Never heard of anyone lashing out or trying to basically murder their people for not listening to them. These extremists will not have survived if they were the ones to give the message. Because they believe you have to take what they say by force and the stories of the prophets tell us that preach what you have to preach and make sure you’re preaching what Allah hasordained, But guidance comes from only Allah and we cannot take people’s rebellion against Allah’s words to heart

    When I started practicing Islam again after a long life of agnosticism (I'm Bosniak, but Bosnians are pretty irreligious generally), I dove right in and got excited. Of course I was so excited to please Allah but it quickly went into extremism. I was so freaking depressed. I was anxious. I hated myself. I felt guilt and shame. I literally just wanted to be unalived so the pressure could get away from me. Alhamdulillah I relaxed and I'm at peace with myself now and I find that my connection to Islam is more personal and deeper than my outward appearance. It's my character and my spirituality. I was so obsessed with fine tuning how others see me but hardly if at all worked on my character and what was inside of me.

    One doesn't need a messenger or scripture to connect with the divine or to be pious. Just repeating 'water, water' won't quench your thirst. There’s a verse about someone satisfied with the name but never seeking the essence-someone who admires the symbol but never fulfills its purpose. A statue comforts the heart with its name, yet remains an empty vessel. Symbols are fleeting; the truth lies beyond them.

    So glad I came across this video sister. My story is basically my mother is a revert, and my father passed away when I was younger, and I live in a country that is not Muslim majority. So I never really lived as a Muslim should, even though I prayed and fasted. Or so I thought, because the people around me or what you call the "haram Police" would always criticize to the point where I thought I wasn't doing enough. One of them (sadly, she was one of my teachers) even told me that she didn't know if I was Muslim or not, and that if I was a "better Muslim" then maybe my father would've been alive. It hurt my feelings so much because I had just lost my father, and I was guilt trapped into thinking that my "disobedience" is the reason my father passed away. For so many years I struggled, I became hateful, I almost became a victim of following the wrong path. But by Allah's Mercy, I was able to fight back, start taking my deen seriously. Alhamdulillah I am in a better place now, both spiritually and mentally. I learnt to love my religion. I learnt to distinguish what people said and what Allah Azzawajal and the Prophet (SAL) has said. Those criticisms no longer hurt me, because I know better now. I'm so glad you spoke about your experiences, because this isn't a topic many discuss.

    Christian here, I understand. Exactly what type of extremism you're talking about, the people who tell you to follow all these rules not out of the love of God, and out of the reasons from God, but out of pridefulness. These communities are just awful to be it in my experience, and you can never form genuine connection based on faith, because these people completely lack real faith or understanding. Quickly after my extremism, I became a devert. It took me months to get back to an area where I can actually grow in my faith.

Qur'an rejects Anyone Except Allah in matters of legislations - Even the prophets and Messengers of God can not disobey of what has been "Sent down" i.e the books of Allah for example Qur'an ... but Sunni and Shiites disobey the clear commands of the Qur'an

    I’m glad I found your channel, just watched your vid on loving hijab. I’m currently just learning that what I went through was abuse, I’m so brainwashed that I thought all the self help stuff, whether it was turning to the deen fully (astaghfirullah) or psychology was nonsense until recently. I still live with my parents who are extremely controlling and verbally abusive and I want to move out bc it’s affecting my deen and I feel all sabr-ed out tbh. No more jumping through hoops to get abused anyway. Everyone misuses the deen (esp them and extended family) to get me to be obedient and I can’t take the abuse anymore so I think it’s permissible to move out in my case. The anger and hurt is still there because I understand they had a hard childhood that made them narcissistic but they still have to choice to be better people (like their siblings-they even bully my extended family). I’ve accepted they are incapable of parental love, that’s it not my fault and the cycle of abuse ends with me.

      Also, another thing about hijab is for people from a Muslim-background, it becomes very easy to forget the intention behind hijab as an act of worship. We are missing out on so much reward by making it a simple part of our daily routine, without doing it purposefully (if that makes sense?)! May Allah allow us to earn much reward for our struggles!!

      @sarathesimmersarathesimmer1300 17 часов назад

      You don’t wait until you feel it’s right, you wear it when it becomes fardh upon you (once you reach puberty). I understand there’s the narrative that hijab is a ‘journey,’ but know that there will never be a time where it feels “right.” :) ❤ Additionally, if you rely on your feelings of when it feels right, when you’re loving the hijab, etc., if there comes a moment when you don’t feel motivated or in touch with your hijab anymore, there’s a risk you’d take it off. With this in mind, there is never a time where it feels “right,” so my advice is to put it on and seek further knowledge on it to strengthen why Allah swt made it fardh, even if you don’t like it, as “…Perhaps you dislike something which is good for you and like something which is bad for you. Allah knows and you do not know.” (2:216) ❤❤
