Had my tub for 6 years with same cover and the first lifter you mentioned and still working great. No problems with my lifter where cover hangs it from middle.
One thing you didn't mention is that all the stress is now between the two foam panels, a better lifter seems to be one where the cover folds and then slides onto a catch and the catch folds over
You are correct, the materials and design are good, but the instructions= and the video are poor. Then the worst thing is the last step of putting in the pneumatic lifter. The item is 1/2" short. It is not adjustable and does not stretch. So what do I do now? Is anyone from the company listening in?
They sure will. I helped a customer install two on a swim spa just last week. I would recommend the hydraulic version though to help with the weight of the cover
We have a jacuzzi tub lifter that just broke at the part that attaches to the hot tub ..our top is still in descent shape but is waterlogged and quite heavy ..if I invest in this lifter can it take the weight of my waterlogged cover ? Thank you and we are in Ontario Canada do you ship here if not where can I order one I need it asap
I normally like your videos, but you should be showing this lift on an actual hot tub!!! You addressed the strength of the lift, but you have no idea of the ease of the mount opening for an actual user!
It's as easy or easier to open than the typical curved arm lifter but that is a good point. I'll update the video with some footage of the lifter being used. Thanks!
It's a great hot tub lifter, I've had it on my tub for 3 years already without issue. Maybe not that brand but that exact same lifter with the hydrolic shocks.
Any mechanical engineer could create a great cover lifter, that isn't the goal. The goal is cheapest sellable product. All we have here is someone actually gave a shit. Buying now!!!!

Cant make a purchase for this lifter on the site your link took me to. Had no buy button. Kinda frustrating. I have to look somewhere else.
Hello Bill, where do I buy the Ultra lift hydraulic with the free mount? I can find the hydraulic lift but can't find the free mount.
Hi.. what is the link to purchase this!
An you mount the boomerang mounts to the standard mount? I’ve tried contacting the company for instructions but they never reply.
Great job. You nailed it for me
Love this lifter..
Have any formal endless pool E700?

Is buying a used 2010 jacuzzi J-335 hot tub a good idea? How long do they typically last?
Good video would like to see it being used. If you don't use the lock key will the cover fall on top of you?
The locking pin is only there as an extra measure and the cover will stay open without it
Will they work on a swim spa if I get two.?

Yep, they are strong big enough for that application up to a 20' swimmer get them here: hottubuniversity.com/store/category/all

@@nerde3031 agree would like to see it in action to compare to standard lifter you demoed.
It’s never hydraulics, it’s pneumatics.
Right! but still every manufacturer calls it a Hydraulic cover lifter...lol marketing!!! Hydraulic sounds so much better :-)
This video is a fail.
Didn't show the ultra lift actually used on a hot tub 👎👎

Where’d you buy it?
