I just discovered you two days ago and I'm pleased that i did. Your videos are very well excuted and your comedic timing is legendary. Thank you for the attention to detail and for doing you! Glad to be a fan!
he makes this video again and again to gain viewers that ultimately buy the game... this is a marketing video..an ad in disguise...i saw this same video back in 2017.... again in 2018 and now again...bet in 2020 there will be avideo again saying...HEY THERE you wanna know if eso is worth playing.. well ofcourse you are gonna say its worth playing..this is like the fouth time you are saying so kevduit..and i know you work for bethesda
I remember down in Riften there was a group of a people just playing the flute around a summoned cake. Then after that they took off their armor and weapons and started boxing. Gotta love the people in this game 😂
Ha! I once met 3 guys playing the repair emote on empty space but they kept saying "don't step on the invisible box please" whenever someone stood there xD
This video becomes more beautiful when you realize that this pretty much served as Kev's farewell vid to ESO, as one of the last ones he made before he really stopped. It just goes to show the naysayers that Kev didn't stop playing this game because it was bad, or that he hated it now, just that he moved on. Some day, we'll all move on from it too. But for now, I'm still playing, I'm still having a blast and making new memories. And a lot of that is thanks to you, Kevduit, your vids in the early days were a huge contributing factor to me getting sucked into this game, and helped me know what the hell I was actually doing. So thank you, Kevduit, on behalf of so many more people than you may know.
I'm not gonna lie, the people who kept bashing ESO were the ones that made me stay away from it for a while. When it was on sale I decided to give it a shot, it was only $10. I'm glad I did, those people were wrong about it.
I'll be honest I bought a copy way back at launch for myself and a friend that was a long time day 1 WOW player. It was my first MMO. We played for about a week and he was like this game is hot trash compared to WOW. He refuses to play to this day and I picked it back up about a month ago. I'm still learning the ways of MMO life and just doing overland content. I'm enjoying myself a lot. I tried to play WOW for a month but I just couldn't get into the art style and it was a tough go for a new player to learn the mechanics. I think ESO does that much better.
@@gearjammergamer8560 I considered playing WoW for a hot minute as well but for lack of a better term it was kinda intimidating for an mmo noob. But then a buddy of mine that played eso since launch suggested that I try to get back into it around the one tamriel patch. Been hooked ever since. Took a bit of a break around summerset cause I put way more time into it than I'm proud to admit and burned myself out a bit. Then same buddy suggested starting over on pc to get ready for elsewhere (can't remember bow it's spelled) and ive been playing again way more than I thought I would. All in all I think it's a pretty great game. Just not a fan of the crown store/crates buy I guess that's just a part of gaming now sadly
@@bowdude27 ESO used to suck, back during early days... that is fact... it's just that some people don't really update their info much, and for some reason are quite eager to insist that nothing has changed, even though eso released 2 MAJOR overhaul patches that made the game completely unrecognizable from it's original release. :P ESO now is good, really good, and it's gon' get way better once Necromancer class releases! 8D
The stories this game makes are amazing. Not the in-game stories, but the ones you, as a player go through. I remember wanting to go into the imperial city, but my shrines were taken over by the Dominion, the nearest shrine I could go to was in Dominion territory, but I saw in the map that a group of Daggers were carrying a scroll through a bridge I needed to cross, so I sneaked by and watched them go. It was obviously a bad move for me to just run in, 1 vs 7 would obviously mean I'll die (and for those who don't know this game much, when in Cyrodiil, you can only fast travel through shrines your faction has unlocked, otherwise, you'll have to walk/run/ride through the HUGE map, and dying far in would mean spawning back in your base camp, or nearest keep). Anyway, once I was sure I let them ride by, I went on to cross the bridge. As I'm going through the middle of it, 3 Daggers appeared in front of me. I'm not built to fight other players, but the moment I look back, another 5ish daggers were blocking my way. The bastards ambushed me. Suddenly, they all pull chairs and sit down, while one of them comes to fight me. He must've been low level because I was able to actually defeat him. After him, two Daggers get up. One of them went on to fight me, the other one to resurrect the one I killed. I noticed that no matter how many I would be able to kill (miraculously), they would keep entertaining me with a fight and keep resurrecting each other. It was a dead end fight. I wasn't even mad for dying in that bridge.
Also join mages and fighters guild early because each lore book you find give you points in mages guild and the demora you kill adds to the fighters guild
I have been playing this game for 5 years and they are always adding more. It's amazing honestly. I dont see it dying off anytime soon. They are always updating to fixing bugs, always running events and always adding new content. I couldnt ask for a better MMO.
You sold me @9:00 minutes in man. I think you should've highlighted it more! I tired this game a while back and gave up because it just felt...slow. Id see all these crazy advertisements and videos showing these cool ass rotations but whenever I played it was just...merp... Will be trying again, thanks for the motivation! Great video.
Yep. I burned out trying to grind dungeons as a healer to get to end game like I used to in WoW and now I'm sitting here begging my pc to download it again faster so I can just go play it like I did Skyrim. Time to spend a disturbing amount of time wandering around disintegrating anything that looks nasty.
Bought the base game 1 and half month ago. Bought summerset like week after that and have eso+ for 6 months pre-purchase. This game is everything I needed from MMORPG - Storytelling, freedom, endgame, grind, beautiful graphics. Shit its a lot, just finally reached 160cp. I am so excited to finally hunt gear!
I played eso on and off also... i started olaying again recently just bcs of the dragons and necromancer and damn... havent stooped playing once... love the game alot currently way better then wow
Sometimes when i don't feel like grinding or fighting, i'll just go into 1st person mode and walk around taking in some of the amazing scenery. That alone makes it worth playing for me.
This is the first Elder Scrolls Online machinima like video I have ever seen. I used to love World of Warcraft videos and I was always a little disappointed that no one ever made ESO machinima, especially with all of the emotes available. Great job! Makes me want to level up my Warden!
@kroooassant to finally give you a straight answer to your question (as a wow vet and eso player), no. the raids in ESO are NOTHING like WoWs. not in terms of difficulty, or that group mentality that WoW has. The raids in ESO are difficult and interesting once you get to Vet Trials/Raids, but it's still nothing like a Mythic Raid in WoW. Part of the difference of course has to do with the combat style, since ESO is action-combat, you can't directly target another play, or add, etc. Personal responsibility for specific mechanics isn't really much of a thing either, due mostly to it being action-combat, though there are alot of mechanics in Vet difficulty that the group will have to deal with, and higher caliber raid teams will of course demand their group deal with them properly...it's just different. I would say, try to find a vid on youtube that shows a very serious, high-end raid guild in ESO doing Vet raids...you'll see what I mean. When I play ESO, the thing I miss most is the raiding from WoW. And the flying. I love flying in Wow lol. You should play ESO if you loved Skyrim or Oblivion and want to play a game like that in an MMO world.

ESO is the only game to hook me so much that I literally forfeit sleep just to play a few more missions. This game is so addictive that it had developed it's own illness, ESOsyndrome (can't physically get off of ESO)
Had that too, i was doing dungeons and i loved the 4 player experience so i kept on doing it and met some new friends but UPS it's already 6 am!! I started at 3pm the other day...feelsbad xD
Ps4 -4 yrs. Cp 350 Pc- 5 months cp300 lol only because I started going after things I didn't on console, love both but after the add-on spoilage idk how I could ever play full-time on console again, will have ps+ on console as well but save the crowns for gifting my kid 😋 (why don't I just give him the plus? Because he doesn't play as much and I might lol) but it's def way better in PC. Hands down

Plz make more eso videos because I think I can speak for more than just myself when I say you make the best videos whether it be guides or just silly commentary, (usually Both) but you and ur channel are what made me jump back into eso! Not only are you halarious and entertaining but the videos are very informative and creative. Your content has a very unique style of comedy and I cant stop watching, you make me laugh so hard! Please Keep making eso videos dude you're so funny and I love watching these!!!
Honestly one of the best games ever published by Bathesda. It really is huge, and takes like 20 hours to fully get into, but once you figure out all the mechanics you'll be hooked.
I started playing ESO yesterday because WoW sucked. One question, how is the endgame in ESO? In WoW there is M+ and raids which were the only 2 things in the game that were fun doing for me. Is there something challenging as this in ESO?
@@Muftaay for sure, there's a ton of pve and pvp stuff to do that not many mmorpgs have, but in the end it depends on what you want to do because there's SO MUCH to do not to mention, if it somehow ever gets boring after thousands of hours played, joining a group or guild is going to make it a whole new experience, there will always be stuff to do because they just release so much content such as events ,dlcs and new chapters, you'll never run out if things to do:D just have fun and enjoy it
@@MD-cq4np Well yeah but is it actually challenging? For example I loved doing mythic+ in wow with my friends, there was a time when we alle had quite a lot of time and were pushing higher and higher dungeons all the time. I'm afraid that ESO might not have that much of a challenge in the endgame, but well that's why I'm playing in right now, to find out ^^
Got it for $8 bucks and returned it within a week. Fun game, but MMOs aren't for me. Don't wanna pay money in order to keep up with the best gear whenever a new update comes out
@@zxera9702 yeah, personally I don't like monthly payments for games if I buy the game and keep having to spend MORE money on that game to just play it and nothing else then to me that's a big loss in a game when I could just get any other triple A title for a set amount of money (for example 50 at most which is basically the same price for getting ESO for 5 months). If you're on console also you have to pay PS+ or Xbox Live every so often (another 50) to even play ESO on top of that. In short, if I buy a game I should be able to play it for any in determinant time without paying some fee (which is 104.99 for ESO + 50 if on console for 1 year) to continue playing and that should be the end of it
The reason I like Teso is because I just play it like Skyrim and dont bother with anyone else. Yet it's really cool to see other people in the world or in the citys.
I came into ESO for the PvE Content originally (and my God does it have some amazing story content) knowing at the very least I wanted to try PvP and found myself in love with the PvP content specifically after a certain point. All it takes is to join a good PvP guild and getting to know your faction's makeup (whether your on Xbox, PC, or Ps4) and the culture of the community and you will find yourself amongst a beautiful dysfunctional family of fun people to tear up the map with every weekend. I haven't got to play much lately for a few factors but I love my guild and I love the Ebonhart Pact on Xbox. Also, this game is the greatest damn MMO I've played since Runescape. It's the MMO that finally got me to give up on trying to get back into it and just enjoy my time in this new world and experience everything it had to offer.
I never played an MMO before either but I took a chance with ESO. AND It has never let me down. I've been playing since launch and can say with complete honesty, this game has only grown even more interesting (DLC chapters & single missions) over the years. You can play this game ANY way you want to play. This is coming from a woman who (IRL) lives in Somerset Pa. and LIVES in Summerset. :D I'm giving Elsweyr a nod as my new home away from home.
I felt extremely called out by the noobs looking up 1-50 in short time, but I've played a large amount of mmos and I have more fun not worrying about levels and stuff and doing wtf I want lol
THANK YOU for such an entertaining video. You have convinced me to join FB groups to find out more from other players. I have never played ESO and now I an convinced that I should atleast check it out.
I just played it for the first time last night. I can't wait to get home after work tonight and log in for a good few hours of exploring and learning how to do the things.
Yuppp. Played it there for my first time just to see what it's all about since it's $10. The woman there said you can play it as a one player experience just like Skyrim if you want. I'm still not sure if it's a waste of time or not but I'm really close to downloading it now.
It took me about a year and a half to fully understand builds and my skill bars on my Templar, I gotta say it's been fun, and I'm still play to this day on ps4 at CP 570 :)
I preordered this game for console and started playing day 1 on console. Played used lightly since you’d be in a queue for hours. Finally get in only to play for 10 minutes and get kicked from the server or an NPC would glitch so you had to relog and go back into the queue. However! After that was fixed, my buddies and I leveled as fast as possible, grinded cyrodil, ran dungeons countless times gear grinding. Then did the same thing for vet dungeons. Grind grind grind. Ran a market guild to make a as much gold as possible. Did it to the max. That ended about 3 years ago. Got my first gaming PC 2 weeks ago and started playing on PC this time. I’m just questing and taking it easy now. Going opposite of what I used to do. 10 hours (give or take) in and I’m only 60% done with the one zone. My girl hops on and we quest together (me with a new character) and we have a blast even though I’m running the same quest line. There’s so much to do in this game and the fun hasn’t stopped. I know grinding gets old but after 24 hours of grinding then taking that build into PvP and destroy people is so worth it.
I actually bought it after watching this. I'll update u in a month EDIT 1: two weeks in and enjoying it a lot. Slightly overwhelmed but that's me coming from no mmorpg background. What's blown me away is how big it all feels and how can I just spend hours wandering round exploring and it looks stunning for a game that's couple years old. I picked up the gold edition for £8 and the past two weeks are worth the price. Will update in 2 more weeks 🤙
I just got it last night on my xbox and I have so say how addicted I was to it immediately. I actually had to force myself to go to sleep because before I knew it it was 12 in the morning!
He's not wrong. I never played an MMO before and was able to quickly learn, found so many helpful random friendly players that when you become decent you start to give back to newer players as well. Still learning new things and I have been hooked for 2 years now. Very addicting. Leaves you always wanting to do more.
13 years wow veteran with world rank raiding under my belt. This video makes me whana try ESO and experience a new mmo that is hopefully the new journey for me again.
I have sunk literal moths of gametime into ESO. I barely even do co-op stuff! Multiplayer is totally the name of the game, but new players would be surprised with the amount of stuff you can pull off as a solo player. You can get endgame-level gear solo. You can pvp solo. You can run group content solo. I saw a guy beat a boss in a TWELVE MAN TRIAL solo. Solo players; worry not about playing solo. This game was MADE for you. Sure, there are SOME things us soloists cannot do, but that is ok, All types of players and playstyles have a place in ESO.
ESO is the best mmo!! It has the best community! Lots and lots of relevant content! Very new player friendly!! Hyped for Eslweyr!! Agree or disagree. My opinion. 💅💋
Played Eso since it was possible, and its a very nice game. I really enjoy it, but cant say it holds my attention until next expantion comes. I have breaks in it. But i return each expantion, because it is worth it each time :) But honestly i still like Everquest (1) better then any other mmo. Simply because i enjoy the grouping style of chatting while leveling more. And i find the raids more challeging. Plus the people there is super nice (but sure all games have anoying people). Played it since 1999 and still have active accounts, i play it less i admit. Not every day raider anymore. But i have knowen many people there for nearly two decades, and i dont just mean guildies. Litterly grouped with so many people that its rare i dont atleast know one other group member. It has huge amount of content aswell clearly, insane amount of lore. Sadly not to many now a days with patience for the game. Love that pvp is a server for itself aswell. Only Swg have been able to compete with it in my book. I have found all other games too easy and/or unable to hold my attention. Often i have hit max lvl within the first week or two of a games release. Sometimes maybe a month because i play so much. Everquest toke me nearly one full year to max when it was brand new, but it has been ALOT more easy over the years due to wow style of gamer babies trying it, crying to much over being to slow and hard.
Whoa whoa whoa boys and girls. I been here since the beginning. And I can say right now, ESO has the best community. Yes there are toxic douche bags, but that's in every mmo. Yes I have played World of Warcraft, that community fell apart after Wrath of the Lich King. You try starting over in World of warcraft right now and litterly the first five minutes I got cussed out for asking simple questions. People will not communicate over there. The first 5 minutes of coming back to ESO was like a warm hug. People actually talk to me and pointed me in the right direction. Gave pointers and explained new dungeon mechanics. When Battle for Azeroth happened, I was not happy in the state of world of warcraft. The community is so toxic over there. It's pretty much the main reason I left. No one talks to you. You use group finder for everything. It's like a hollow skeleton of what a great game was. Your either an elitist or a filthy casual, no in between. ESO since the beginning has always been inviting for new players and returning players. Hell I remember when alliances mattered and I remember the first time I stepped into cyrodiil. I was getting ass handed to me and out of no where I get a whisper from a guy on the opposing alliance offering to help me get good at pvping. Seriously the most helpful guy I ever met. Yes, it may not happen now days, yes there are alot of douche bags. But I dont let that ruin my gaming experience. You are the one in charge of your gaming experience and if someone is being toxic, block them. Being apart of ESO's gaming community on forums and groups has really open my eyes to how generous people are. Even if its asking for simple information. And ESO's streamers make a big difference by always answering questions and providing content to help new players. And always always grateful for the community that supports them. Now dont get me wrong, I like asmongold as a person, but as a streamer, he has a big ego. For him to try out ESO and come off his high horse is really refreshing to see. But for him to get bombarded by 50+ people to get thier 5 minutes of fame by appearing on stream is kinda ridiculous. Give him a break and let him explore and play the game in peace.
Ty man I appreciate ur review. I can tell you are very in depth in your reviews. You are unique and for that I thank you and will remain a subscriber to you
chikni dimistri don’t be dumb it is worth it the game is far from perfect and needs a lot fixed like performance but the game is still very fun and their is so much to do
ESO is so fckn amazing. I used to play WoW for 4-5 years from 2009 to 2014. LAter i started playing ESO and i was so amazed, it was 10x more fun to play ESO than WoW. The first person / 3rd person switching camera is so amazing, exploring is so interesting, questing everywhere, no complicated quests etc...
This game is AMAZING. It has everything in terms of good pvp and easy to find dungeon groups. Every class can tank, heal, dps which makes it SO MUCH BETTER than stupid ass WoW. No competing for gear, nobody can steal mobs from you when you aren't grouped. This game takes everything bad in MMO's and fixes it. Real time combat and dodging/blocking is one of my favorite mechanics. Amazing game im at 300 cp now with a Stamina Nightblade.
Honestly tho, the point you hit on about newbies watching 1-50 grinds really hits home. I recently returned to eso but on pc instead of xbox, and by changing my attitudes to levelling from "Ugh more grinding" to "Oh hey, i got a level up, neat" really, and I mean REALLY, improved my experience of playing ESO.
I tried out ESO a month ago, played for a bit and reached level 26. It's a very pretty game and I was intrigued to explore the world of Tamriel. (Having only played Skyrim before, I was excited). The mainstory seemed interesting enough, but sadly it didn't do a very good job at making me care for it or its characters. (Raz is like the only one I remember, but honestly he was the best character too) Otherwise it felt like a very long side quest. The biggest turn off for me has to be the combat. I can't put my finger on it, but my attacks doesn't feel impactful and thus become boring. The only attack I ever liked to do was the Warden's _Dive_ ability. Also the fact that you have to train up your stamina/speed/carrying capacity for mounts is putting me off as well. I think I'll keep playing Guild Wars 2. Have been playing for 3 years, and since they introduced mounts with their _Path of Fire_ expansion, I can't really enjoy mounts in other MMOs :P In my opinion GW2 has the best mounts in the MMO genre, not only using them as means to move faster, but tools to traverse the environment.
Northena after picking up eso these past 2 weeks after being a beta player and launch player (but quickly quitting cuz of school and subscription), I have to admit the combat is missing SOMETHING. I think it’s the sound design, it doesn’t feel like there’s bass so there’s no UMPH when you hit. I think the biggest difference in this game though is that the combat has no TICK RATE. Most mmos make you auto attack on a timer, in this game you auto attack by mashing your button, which makes a small change a huge difference. Besides that the PVP is still insanely fun and the world is very immersive and rich with content.
This was my ode to ESO for the most part before I stopped playing it for youtube. I play it by myself, but making content on it started to ruin my experience with it
At the time of this comment I've only been playing a week. I'm very lost, but slowly picking up on research, glyph crafting and crafting in general. I haven't even done anything u daunted or any dungeons. Argonian sorc is not as easy to make as I thought. But its s learning curve.
Is your guild in eso still active? I’ve been playing for about a week and started watching your videos yesterday. Would be awesome to get in with some experienced players.
Ok, because of your video I am getting this game. It is downloading right now. I'll let you guys know what I think! I already know I will like it. I had it when it first came out and cant remember why I stopped playing, but it had nothing to do with not liking the game. I really enjoyed it. And it sounds like its only better now. I'm just a casual. a 41 year old man with a full time job, a wife, and responsibilities, but I always enjoy ripping through a few quests or dungeons. In that regard, there's no chance I wont like it.
Bruh. I just purchased this game. My first official mmorpg. I found this man randomly searching guides and all I can say is that I’m in love with this man 🤣🤣😭
Strawberry Strallod it is to be honest, once you get used to the play style it will become addicting, there’s always something to do and tons of quests.
Eso has such a kind player base every time I jump back in someone loads me up with better gear and gives me the run down of new content. I always find myself returning even after 5 years now.
Ive been off and on with ESO for awhile but what keeps making me leave is the realization that most of the classes have similar builds thanks to the weapon skills (looking at you destro staff). While this isnt a big deal for people who play one class all the time, it terrible for alt addicts like me. Thats why I play Guild Wars 2. :D
@@ShadowMagnum oh man! PVP is the bread and butter to this game!!! Especially getting a solid group of 24, having coordinated builds do certain things on the battle field, long epic battles, it doesn't get better than this! Having two healers stay in the middle of the pack, 2-4 nightblades hiding around scouting, killing, and resurrecting fallen players, and my favorite, heavy armor brawlers on the front line charging in and taking the brute of the damage. I can't get enough the past 3 years. A 8 hour pvp shift flies by so fast cause it's so much fun!!! If you do come back definitely build your favorite toon around pvp.
@kxr haha! no way!!! I love having different skill lines!! That's why Champion points go over to another character. If you wanna change it up it's easy to make another character. Like I said I have 10 maxed level characters and each one of them are completely different from another. In the future there will be more skill lines (like psijic) that you can add to a character which is really cool. Having all skill trees to the game would definitely break the game. It's already hard enough for zenimax to balance the skills they have right now! lol
This video made me delete a bunch of games and reinstall ESO, I was on the fence about trying to play it again and it will suck cause all my friends I did play it with will never play it again but I mean hey, why not right? Im installing it rn and im excited to dive back into this and remember all those fond memories that ive had when this first came out. So I say thank you Kevduit for the push and keep being awesome my dude
Dude I AGREE do NOT POWER LEVEL !!! I did that because I wanted to play with 3 friends that were allready playing for a long time and man it ruined my experience ... I had trouble understanding how my skills work and it took me a while to learn what rotation/build I like ...
I can agree wholeheartedly. I played it a short bit at launch and it was horrible. Heard it got rid of the must-subscription and picked it up during the 10€ sale and holy it's so good. The cool thing is that you can easily play it as a Singleplayer yet you'll see how things are getting incredibly easy when teaming up with someone. Only dislike I have here is that you can't group share quests like it does in dungeons at the start so you always need to coordinate. What I also love is that you can join 5 clans no problem and friends as well as clans are account locked. It's also really good at rewarding you for small things. You have area guides recording what you can do on which continent, you get cosmetics from playing that aren't crap. I also really love the guilds and how they each level differently and you aren't forced to fullfill quests for them. Also the community is really nice in my opinion. I hit Cp90 recently with my first character and people have been really helpful in figuring things out skill wise because there is so much to choose from. x.x
I loved it at launch despite people incorrectly expecting it to be a sequel to a single player Elder Scrolls title. It was great then, and matured even more now.
I love the game. I'm the sort of player who's just happy to go out questing by myself for hours reading books and finding out about the lore. I'm having one problem, newbies get treated like absolute shit by the CP's. I haven't met anyone helpful as yet, usually on an MMO if you have a question you can just ask in the zone chat but here 90% of the time you won't get an answer. I've been looking for guilds but I don't wanna feel like a burden. I'm tryna learn the ins and outs of this game and the community could certainly be more helpful to us newbies.
@@Verticom10 EU bro. I met a nice dude today but his guild mostly does pact stuff and I'm covenent. I'm just looking for a guild to trade and quest with.
@@aliasofanalias7448 You may trade and quest with anyone anywhere regardless, just invite each other to a group, unless youre in a pvp area like cyrodiil. Miss these videos man, they're a big reason I got into ESO! Thanks for making them all!
Another amazing video, man! Thanks again for creeping on my Twitch stream and carrying my ass.

I'm not gonna lie, the people who kept bashing ESO were the ones that made me stay away from it for a while. When it was on sale I decided to give it a shot, it was only $10. I'm glad I did, those people were wrong about it.
Well, it is their opinion. You shouldn't take other peoples opinions as facts.
ESO now is good, really good, and it's gon' get way better once Necromancer class releases! 8D
It’s always good to get most games when on sale anyways plus a lot of good patches when u bought it so consider yourself lucky

Peter Stewart I tried figuring it out but I’m about to have a stroke reading your comments. Please tell me that this is just satire?

Really glad to see ESO back! been missing you in the world!
ESO is the perfect combo of an elderscrolls game and mmo for me. Loving it.

I started playing ESO yesterday because WoW sucked. One question, how is the endgame in ESO? In WoW there is M+ and raids which were the only 2 things in the game that were fun doing for me. Is there something challenging as this in ESO?

9.99 for a month
@@zxera9702 yeah, personally I don't like monthly payments for games if I buy the game and keep having to spend MORE money on that game to just play it and nothing else then to me that's a big loss in a game when I could just get any other triple A title for a set amount of money (for example 50 at most which is basically the same price for getting ESO for 5 months). If you're on console also you have to pay PS+ or Xbox Live every so often (another 50) to even play ESO on top of that. In short, if I buy a game I should be able to play it for any in determinant time without paying some fee (which is 104.99 for ESO + 50 if on console for 1 year) to continue playing and that should be the end of it
U guys have been paying 9.99..? I just bought it in one payment for £6..

I just started playing this game again and its awesome and worth the money . The world is freaking huge. Soo many things to do! Great game!

Played Eso since it was possible, and its a very nice game. I really enjoy it, but cant say it holds my attention until next expantion comes. I have breaks in it. But i return each expantion, because it is worth it each time :)
But honestly i still like Everquest (1) better then any other mmo.

Pierce do u recommend it to someone who doesn't really like mmos
@@phokelosyx1863 no,I mean its a mmo but can be played as a rpg slightly
Honestly tho, the point you hit on about newbies watching 1-50 grinds really hits home. I recently returned to eso but on pc instead of xbox, and by changing my attitudes to levelling from "Ugh more grinding" to "Oh hey, i got a level up, neat" really, and I mean REALLY, improved my experience of playing ESO.

Nope Darien.
You misspelled Vivec
Mackenzie Goff Agreed. Sotha Sil is the pride of the dunmer
Ffxiv is easily the best mmo in my opinion
Northena after picking up eso these past 2 weeks after being a beta player and launch player (but quickly quitting cuz of school and subscription), I have to admit the combat is missing SOMETHING. I think it’s the sound design, it doesn’t feel like there’s bass so there’s no UMPH when you hit. I think the biggest difference in this game though is that the combat has no TICK RATE. Most mmos make you auto attack on a timer, in this game you auto attack by mashing your button, which makes a small change a huge difference. Besides that the PVP is still insanely fun and the world is very immersive and rich with content.
You never forget your first MMORPG
Just because of how you presented this, I am gonna give it another go. Liked & Subcribed.
Awesome video haha just picked this up today and wasn't sure what to expect from it and I feel better already
This is the last video he made of eso so apparently it’s not worth playing lol
I'm sure you'll enjoy it, it's a really fun time, and the best part is that you CAN take it as casually as you like!
I loved this video. Very informative and I like how you kept your character as the center!
Bruh. I just purchased this game. My first official mmorpg. I found this man randomly searching guides and all I can say is that I’m in love with this man 🤣🤣😭
Thinking about getting it. Worth it so far?
Strawberry Strallod it is to be honest, once you get used to the play style it will become addicting, there’s always something to do and tons of quests.
@@nanpez4375 Good to know. In that case I will keep it on my list.
@@I_Just_Like_Neat_Stuff yeah it's a good game but be sure to being playing with atleast 1 other person can get boring
@@nanpez4375 i played dcuo alot and this game pretty much has the same mechanics in a way, i might download it
I watched this vid when it came out got back into game now CP 70 not high but it’s honest work
"Is ESO worth playing?"
Let's be real here if even Asmongold is playing ESO now it must be worth playing lol.
@Buy Slap City! He's been having a good time though. Not like how he railed against GW2 all stream
Who is assmangold?
Re4 ESO a wow streamer but he hasn't had a good exspirence of the game as his fans and swarming him so he can't exspirence the game properly
I've only just started playing MMO's this year and I must say they can feel repetitive at times but still surprisingly fun coz of the content
Eso has such a kind player base every time I jump back in someone loads me up with better gear and gives me the run down of new content. I always find myself returning even after 5 years now.
They need to make pets wonder around in ur house like mobs in the wild do. Would be cool.
Mmmm... I have 10 maxed out pvp toons & I don't have that problem. Maybe you're speaking for pve?
@@ESO_PRIME Yeah speaking of the pve. Couldn't stay hooked long enough to try the PvP.
It's already hard enough for zenimax to balance the skills they have right now! lol
"Is ESO worth playing?
Well I mean the necromancer class is coming out ... so hell yea lol.
Trying to get worm wizard persona now... just so i can idle while summoning undeads :o
alright you confirmed it. I'm getting this.
*"Cause you didn't want life... this is what you're gonna wanna do"*
Beautiful, just beautiful
AND! 50% off on steam right now!
I miss the old ESO intro music D:
What did you do Kevduit you made me feel all the feels. :'(
m4ximoto that music was dope...good times!
Dude I AGREE do NOT POWER LEVEL !!! I did that because I wanted to play with 3 friends that were allready playing for a long time and man it ruined my experience ... I had trouble understanding how my skills work and it took me a while to learn what rotation/build I like ...
Well they have level scaling so if you get a full skill bar you should be able to play with higher level players
Man everywhere i look people say the communities great, ppl do ask alot of samey questions on the subreddit though.
You on US or EU?
@@Verticom10 EU bro. I met a nice dude today but his guild mostly does pact stuff and I'm covenent. I'm just looking for a guild to trade and quest with.
@@aliasofanalias7448 You may trade and quest with anyone anywhere regardless, just invite each other to a group, unless youre in a pvp area like cyrodiil. Guilds for trading have ingame markets, and most trading guilds charge per week (5-15kgp) to put your items up for sale at their trader. Hope it helps
@@Verticom10 I know that much hahaha. I'll have to look into it man, very clueless when it comes to guilds ngl. Thanks for your help.
