Oh man, I just love hearing Wes Johnson as Hermaeus Mora again. I loved his voice in Skyrim, just perfection.
I always come back to ESO. Since it came out, I love this game. I absolutely hated it at first because I was one of those single player rpg puritans, but this game is unbelievably fun. I used to be into the hardcore endgame stuff, but now I just log on to do quest. It’s pretty relaxing honestly. There’s a near endless amounts of pve content.

@@kaijionline after playing for eight years, almost every day, I took a seven month break and did the math on how much money I invested in the game, after a slight freak out that I had put $10,000 into the game over eight years, I logged back in to see if I could maybe rekindle the love for the game that I used to have, and within a week I was reminded why I left the game to begin with.
After what they have done to the lore
ESO does not stand for elder scrolls online, it stands for enriching shareholder opulence.
@@FoundaPeanuti left when they increased the lvl from 810 to some stupid number
@@Sam5D they increased it to 3300 only turn around and roll the power levels back so much that you really only need 1800 to 2000 CP to max out what you really need, then all the rest of the CP is 100% useless.
Basically kicking the Community who has played the game the longest right in the sack.
Not only that but they increased the rate in which you gain experience so much that people are getting to 2000 CP in six months where it used to take players a year or two.
The way I see it, the people making the decisions to do this, don’t play the game unless they’re on the clock, they don’t play it for enjoyment, they play it as a 9-to-5 job that they absolutely loathe.
All it takes is going to one of their community live streams, and looking at their faces and seeing the lack of fun that they’re having, they don’t enjoy what they are doing, and the game is an obvious reflection of that.

Hermaeus Mora and Apocrypha have always been my favorite bits of elder scrolls lore and I'm so happy to see Bethesda giving more screen time to them after the Dragonborn DLC.

Microsoft owns Zenimax that owns Bethesda Game Studio (that makes single player TES games) and Bethesda Software. However, Zenimax Online Studio makes the MMO of ESO. Therefore, BGS and ZOS makes are two different companies that make two different TES games that share the same in game lore and world.

I've been leveling my new Arcanist character to 50 before I start Necrom and only have 5 levels to go. I want to be able to use the Lvl 50 armor and weapons I've accumulated over the years and have in storage. From what I've been hearing, people are loving it so I'm eager to start. Thanks for the demo of your flawless & professional combat techniques ... too bad about the stairs, though.

I gotta say, sponsoring a RUclipsr to put some new eyes on your dead MMO is a smart move.
It’s only dead to people who haven’t invested thousands of dollars into it, a lot of people that continue to play the game, feel obligated to play the game because they have invested too much money into it.
I have played the game for eight years, and the people that I know who are still playing the game to this day are people that put so much money into it that they can’t bear to give it up.
I once said that I would play the game until they close down the servers for good, but the development team showed me with their responses to the general public and their kowtowing to their shareholders, that it’s not worth investing a single dollar into anymore.
They destroyed elder scrolls lore, and only care about their shareholders opinions.

@@forwooo44 man, is a difficult question, SawmanUK has been exploring that question since he quit ESO A while ago.
I personally have found Genshin impact to be rewarding and enjoyable, packed with fantastic lore and an adventure that changes the world as you go through it.
I remember times that I dumped $200 into ESO only to get nothing out of the 60 crown crates that I paid for,
Every time I throw a bit of money at Genshin impact, I feel rewarded for my little investment.
What qualifies as a good game to me is more than the game itself, if it is a live service game, the development team has to care about the content and enjoy the game they are making.
ESO does not have that, their development team and community management team do not care about the people who play the game.
If they did we would have surveys for people give feedback on content that they have made.
The only feedback elder scrolls online, Zenimax online studios, and the development team for eso care about, is the quarterly earnings reports from the shareholders.
Genshin Impact gives you in game rewards for completing surveys to review their updates, events, and content.
I could go on and on, but if you’re looking for an MMO to replace elder scrolls online, I wouldn’t have any solid recommendations, only because they are all run and controlled by people who don’t play/enjoy video games.
