Wonderful video. A fire with big wood and marginal wood can be hard to maintain especially in low to little wind conditions like you were experiencing. Loved the raccoon tracks along the board walk and how you walked around the “trail closed” sign. I would of done the same and I could hear you say to yourself “ yeah right we will see”. Enjoyed the portion of the video during the quiet and calmness of the early morning.
Yes, I figure, they have covered their arses by posting that the trail is closed, so if I choose to ignore, any consequences are on me. I'm fine with that deal.
28:18 Love the woodpecker. I have a real similar video of one in Colorado, from about a year ago. Mine has a little red mark on his head. Yours just looks black and white but otherwise the same. Happy birthday, BTW!

Thank you, Phil! It was a quiet one this year, and that’s A-okay. Have a wonderful week, my dear! 🥰✌🏼
Hey... You're back. Awesome. :)
Thank you such a nice video.
Thank you for sharing with us. What little stove are you using?
Coleman’s emergency stove with Coleman’s fuel tablets. $10 for the stove and $5 for 24 tablets. It’s all I use! Thank you for watching!
