Thanks to his late dad for teaching him how to be a gentleman. Garth once did a talk show in the 90's and when the hostess stood up to go to the audience to ask them questions, Garth stood up. Then during the commercial break the hostess asked Garth why he stood up. He said "My dad would kill me if I didn't stand up when a lady stood up." People think Garth's chivalry is fake but his dad, who was a marine, taught him very well. I applaud Garth for sticking to what he was taught and also in doing that he is honoring his late father. Yes I've had my quibbles about Garth and his music, but I'm still a fan and I still admire him so much

Garth brooks i watched this video of u n the lady that has cancer and it touched me so much because my son is 14 hes in the hospital rite now @ scared heart hospitals in pensacola fl he had to have 4 blood transfusion since he's been in the hospital these last 4 days and when i seen this video i jus cryed so,hard i know god is wit my son to and we listen to this song all the time g.b. u are my favorite country singer i jus wanna tell u i love u so much and how u touch people by ur music its so awesome n me n my mom watches all the time Trisha Yearwood cook we love u guys i hope to see u one day never been to a concert a day in my life jus watchin u on the Ellen show when u song that song mom i dont no how many times i cryed n played that song for my son we love u garth brooks
