@@bootguy-d6n *It sold out in 1 day for the price of $674.99 according to the link in the description. You'd be surprised how many people buy pnw boots. Quite a lot do, and other pnw boot makers for similar prices. On reddit, the people in various pnw boot communities will say how every dollar is worth it. Yea pnw work boots are really expensive! Those who can afford them, will buy them. I have heard of people wearing them for fashion too. I can also understand people who can't afford them. There's all sorts of work boot brands at various prices. So it's a good thing people can find what works best for them.*
I love watching these videos. If I thought a company could make a pair of boots to fit my unique requirements, I'd buy a pair in a heartbeat. Last company that tried making a hand-made pair of safety-toed work boots for me, failed. I'm tempted to give it another shot but that $750.00 is lost and gone forever and I'm not sure I want to risk it.
I ordered a pair of 10" bison OTs last December, got em mid-May, and have worn them almost every day since the got to me. They have broken in so beautifully, the uppers were soft as butter out of the box, and have formed so well to my feet. I get so many questions and compliments about my boots, and I'm proud to tell people where I got them and who built them. JK is the epitome of the "American Dream" as far as I'm concerned, and they have the craftsmanship to back it up
I think the main different will be the leather mid-sole (and boy, purists love it) and logo. I mainly wear reinforced belts, but the bison belt might work with the micro size pewpew. I love that they included a pair of kiltie.
@@caucasoid5645 I mistook the slip-sole to be the mid-sole and leather. Look like the same rubber slip-sole; this might be a black thread and logo change version of the OT Bison (Canyon Smooth) + the belt.
So whats special about these compared to a smooth/smooth canyon ot other than the branding? Sorry if i missed it... been drooling over some bison ot's but maybe with the black pro sole and a safety toe
The main difference is the stitching is black, the branding, and the limited run. They are fundamentally the same, however this is Johns personal favorite boot, which is why we decided to offer it 👍
What method of steatching is it. I noticed the boots are steatched in different way than the any other regular boots. Help me please. I am Jk boot Die hard fan and i own 1 pair of second hand boot but it feels and looks like brand new.

Is there any chance that one of the 75 is a 6.5 5E??
Whats the price gonna be on debut?
Looks similar to my OT Bison Boots. Can this be made with Steel Toe ?
@@caucasoid5645 my guess north of $700.00. Far too much for the people who actually work in them however the hipsters will love it

Doesnt a regular ot have the leather midsole too?

Ну, классно! Очень красиво и прочно выглядит!

Why are the tongues grey? btw my OT's are the best boots I've ever put on my feet. Keep up the great work! Happy birthday John!
The are smooth out because the boot has smooth uppers. It is brown leather but the smooth side much darker, giving off a grayed out brown look.
I WOULD WEAR A PAIR OF THOSE BOOTS 👢!!!..
Это ПРЕКРАСНО!!!!!
